Kaydia Patch Reviews, Functions and Price

Kaydia Patch – In general, pain is something that can severely limit a person. Both punctual and chronic ailments take away some of our quality of life and can make us stop participating in public life and prefer to withdraw. In the long run, this can cause not only physical but also psychological problems. Depression is the typical consequence, which in turn must be treated with other drugs.

Doctors basically prescribe only painkillers for a performance because of pain, which in turn brings other side effects that have to be dealt with and which sometimes have a strong influence on our general health.

Therefore, permanent treatment is not recommended. Moreover, some of them do not work as well as one would expect and take longer to cure than the product presented here. The Kaydia Patch, on the other hand, helps with a natural active ingredient that is already scientifically recognized for its effectiveness and with which many people have had good experience in treating pain conditions.

We would like to introduce the product in detail below and explain what it is all about and its benefits.

    What is the Kaydia Patch?

The Kaydia Patch is a patch with CBD oil, which is applied like a typical heat patch, but supports a different principle of operation. In its active substances the substance cannabidiol is represented. An active substance that has been increasingly discussed in recent years in the form of CBD oil and whose capabilities are still being researched. The manufacturer promises with the Kaydia Patch these characteristics:

    • both day and night wearable
    • patented design
    • wearable for 24 hours
    • relieves acute and chronic pain
    • natural concept with good effect
    • 12 small and 12 large Kaydia Patch included in one package

    Kaydia Patch
The active ingredient is increasingly under discussion for permanent treatment, even when other diseases are involved, as the following paragraph will explain in more detail. Other patches that work against pain should only be worn for a few hours if you listen to the package leaflet. However, because of the permanent pain, few people stick to them, which can cause problems in the long term.

The product presented here with CBD Oil, on the other hand, can be worn both at night and during the day without any problems and brings the effect for which it was designed. A permanent treatment with Kaydia Patch is therefore possible without any problems.

What does the Kaydia Patch do?

One of the essential active ingredients of the Kaydia Patch is the so-called cannabidiol, also called CBD for short. This is female hemp, whose THC content is so low that it is not addictive. On the contrary, in medicine it is increasingly used to treat cramps, anxiety, has an anti-inflammatory effect and dissolves nausea. So a pharmacological effect cannot be denied. CBD oil is also legally available in Germany, but often very expensive and available in different dosages.

In the Kaydia Patch presented here, it is used as an active ingredient to relieve pain and to locate the source of pain in order to render it harmless. The valuable active ingredient has been under discussion since well into 2011. At that time, a spray with CBD was used for the first time to treat multiple sclerosis. Corresponding research even suggests that it is effective in cancer and epilepsy.

In the form of the so-called CBD oil, the product has also been in circulation for some time, whereby the dosage in each case is designed so that it can be used legally. Pain can be relieved well by the product, so it is worth a try in any case. Since 2011 there is even a spray available, which is successfully used for different diseases. Even children have sometimes been treated with this drug.

Pain can be successfully treated with this product and a long-term improvement of the general situation can be achieved. Within Germany legal procurement is possible, but there are clear rules when it comes to selling the products. For example, they may not be sold if they do not have a marketing authorisation.

Anyone who purchases such a product can therefore always be sure of purchasing quality and something that is also subject to legality.

Why do I need the Kaydia Patch?

This product should appeal to all people who suffer from pain and whose quality of life is significantly reduced by it. It does not matter what age they are. The Kaydia Patch helps both young and old. It is recommended not to exceed the exact dosage and treatment recommendations of CBD oil, even if this allows a lot of leeway.

The Kaydia Patch with CBD Oil is suitable for both men and women and is ideal if you are looking for something that can be used consistently to combat pain. It is also suitable for people who are already looking for an alternative to the typical pain medication and who are hoping for an improvement with the help of Kaydia Patch.

    How is the product used?

The Kaydia Patch can be worn for up to eight hours and should simply be applied to the area that causes pain. It is even possible to apply several patches next to each other, so that a larger area can be covered with CBD oil. A reliable improvement usually occurs a few hours later with CBD oil, but experience shows that it can also take a little longer.

In this case, the user should be patient until the full effect of the CBD oil can unfold. As this is still a natural product, it is quite possible that it will take a while to show its full effect.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of the product?

Like every product, this one also has its advantages and disadvantages, which we would like to summarize below. With the help of this list you can also think about whether the product with CBD oil is something for your needs and it can be a purchase decision for you:

    Advantages

    • easy to install
    • selective help possible
    • easily removable
    • non-addictive
    • permanently applicable
    • suitable for every age group
    • wearable both day and night

    Disadvantages

    • takes a while to take effect
    • may not be correctly dosed for every user

As already written, you need to have a little patience when you try the product for the first time and you should give it time to develop its full effect. Otherwise, the Kaydia Patch with CBD oil offers only advantages. You can wear it both day and night and it is suitable for people of all ages. An innovation like the Kaydia Patch is easy to apply and remove. For long-term treatment it is suitable in any case.

General Kaydia Patch Test and Quality Features

Everyone who works in an office on a permanent basis or who has to deal with back pain due to illness is familiar with back pain. Treating it is like walking a tightrope. When they occur, you take a avoidance posture and try to keep it from getting that bad. The problem: it gets worse and eventually affects other parts of the body. We have tried the Kaydia Patch and can confirm that after a few weeks of treatment there is a significant improvement in symptoms.

Although the short-term effect is also guaranteed, we believe that a longer treatment with the patch is always more sensible to give the CBD oil a chance to develop its full effect. The stretches of freedom from pain thus became longer and longer and we were thus convinced of the product. It also seems to be qualitative, so that a Kaydia patch sticks to the affected area all day long. From us there is a clear recommendation.

General Kaydia Patch reviews and opinions

When we were doing research on the product, there were not so many field reports that we could use for orientation. However, we were able to find a few that already allowed a profound insight. Most users were very surprised by the effect of CBD Oil and liked to compare it to the effect of a heat patch, only that they were able to wear it much longer. Their quality of life was significantly improved.

We have not found any negative reports. At this point we would also like to add that there are hardly any reports about the Kaydia Patch, but about CBD Oil in general. CBD Oil has done very good work in relieving pain for some users. Therefore the product is highly recommended. For more customer reviews please follow this link! *

Are there any known Kaydia Patch problems?

Normally, you are always used to a drug that always has side effects. However, this Kaydia Patch has only natural ingredients that are designed to help relieve pain. Side effects do not occur when used correctly. Also the feared property that it could possibly trigger a rush is not true. Because the CBD oil used here is free of THC and therefore not addictive.

The only shortcoming that should be mentioned at this point is the dosage. The Kaydia Patch contains a certain dosage of CBD oil. It is not really appropriate for everyone and can therefore be a little too weak, but also a little too strong.

The first application should therefore be done with some caution. Afterwards you can decide again whether a second patch is necessary or not. Pregnant women should also refrain from using it. Pregnant women should refrain from using patches, as there are no well-founded results in this respect.

In addition, it is always advisable to consult a doctor and talk to him about the treatment if in doubt. They can also provide useful advice and guidance in the event of reactions that are not typical.

Where can I buy Kaydia Patch?

The purchase is best made directly through the manufacturer. They have their own website on the Internet where they offer their products. On the one hand, the advantage is a simple order and payment with as little risk as possible, as well as the possibility to take advantage of special offers. The order is made by means of a simple form in which you only have to leave a few details. Afterwards the order is sent, whereupon the manufacturer sends the goods quickly.

Let us briefly come back to the special offers: These usually include several packages, which have a preferential price and thus the package is much cheaper in detail than a single order. However, the offer formats are only limited in time, which is why it makes sense to take advantage of them if you have the opportunity.

It is also advisable to visit the website several times to make a purchase, as the offers will come back from time to time and then you can strike again. This is also particularly useful for long-term use. By the way, you can pay by Paypal or credit card, which is as risk-free as possible and is also very easy to do. In addition, the customer gets a 30-day money-back guarantee, which the buyer can claim if he is not satisfied with the product.

He will then receive the full amount back. The product is shipped in the shortest possible time, so that treatment can be started quickly. All in all, the order is made in a simple way, so that it can be carried out even by people who do not spend much time on the Internet.

Weight Loss Guide – Quick And Simple

There are very few people in the modern world who do not think they could do with losing a few extra pounds. In some cases, that can be even more. It can be quite tricky if you do not know what you are doing, weeding out the correct information from the incorrect. We have seen that first hand ourselves, with a plethora of information available, we see contradicting “evidence” all over the internet. That’s why we wanted to make our weight loss guide to try and give you the most accurate information that you can, all in one place. We will also try to keep it relatively short so that you

    Weight Loss Guide

As you may know, losing weight is made up of three fundamental elements. They are:

    • Nutrition
    • Supplements
    • Fitness

we will go into those sections in detail as we go through the article, trying to ensure that by the time you have read all of this page, you will have a clear and concise understanding of each of them.

    Weight Loss Guide – Nutrition

One thing that you may have read is that you cannot out-train a poor diet. Well, unfortunately, that is true. While food is such a broad subject, we even break that down into three main categories:

    • Energy
    • Macronutrients
    • Vitamins

Again, we will look at those three things throughout this section so that you have a firmer understanding of each.

    Energy In Food

All food has an energy rating. It is the amount of energy that we consume that causes us, ultimately, to gain or lose weight. Luckily now, most foods that you buy from a store will have an easy to read table on the packaging to show you what values of energy, along with other things, it has in it. We will look at the other things as we go along. For now, though, we are only concerned with energy values. That is because all weight loss, or gain, depends on a healthy balance of energy consumed and expended. The two units that you will see are:

    • kJ. – Kilojoules are a measurement of physical energy that acts upon an object. It is still a unit to convey how much energy a food contains in some parts of the world. However, the most common unit is the calorie.
    • Kcal. – Calories are, as you have just read, the most widely used unit for food energy, and we will be focusing on that throughout the article.

All food and most drinks contain calories of varying amounts. Adding them up into a daily or weekly total will allow us to see and work out how many we are consuming.

    What Is A Calorie?

So, we define a calorie as the amount of energy required to raise one gram of water by one degree Celcius.

It could be helpful to understand the reasoning behind the unit, although it is useful to note that cal and Kcal are different but interchanged throughout the nutrition industry. The cal is a single calorie, while Kcal is one-thousand single cal. We base our intake on Kcal, but call them calories for short.

That may be a little confusing, but do not worry, I am yet to find a manufacturer of food that shows energy in cal instead of Kcal. Therefore, we will call 1-Kcal a single calorie for simplicity. If you do find a product that contains the energy values in cal, you will notice straight away as it will seem like an extremely excessive amount for the food.

Here is an example of a nutritional information label:

    Nutrition Facts Label

As you can see, the energy is stated in calories, when, in actual fact, it means Kcal. We know that because of the macronutrients in the food. But we will go into that in a little while.

How Many Calories Should I Consume To Lose Weight?

The recommended amount of calories you should consume is around 500 less than your TDEE a day. However, how many calories do you consume?

Firstly, you need to know how many calories you use a day under normal circumstances. That is otherwise known as the TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure.) There is a formula that you can use to calculate it yourself if you wish:

TDEE = BMR x Activity Multiplier (BMR is your Basal Metabolic Rate) calculated as below:

BMR = (10 x weight in KG) +(6.25 x height in CM) – (5 x Age in years) + gender constant. Where gender constants are:

    • 5 for males.
    • -161 for females.

So, as an example, if you are a 30-year-old, sedentary male, weighing 98KG and 180cm tall, you will do the following:

    • (10 x 98) + (6.25 x 180) – (5 x 30) + 5
    • (980) + (1,125) – (150) + 5 = BMR 1,960

Now you need to calculate the TDEE by doing the following:

1,960 x 1.2 Activity multiplier (set out below) gives you a total TDEE of 2352 Calories.

    • Sedentary. – (little or no exercise) = 1.2
    • Slightly active. – (1 to 3 hours of exercise or sports per week) = 1.375
    • Moderately active. – (4 to 6 hours of exercise or sports per week) = 1.55
    • Very active. – (7 to 9 hours of exercise or sports per week) = 1.725
    • Highly active. – (10+ hours of exercise or sports per week) = 1.9

Alternatively, you can check a TDEE calculator like this one.

Now that you know how many calories you use a day, you need to take away the 500 that we spoke about at the beginning of this section. Therefore, it will be 2352 – 500 = 1852 calories per day to lose weight. The deficit that you create in your daily intake, however, will adjust the speed at which you lose that weight. The larger the deficit, the faster you will lose weight — the smaller, the slower. Bear in mind, though, that TDEE isn’t a precise science, as only you know how active you are, and the activity multiplier only sets out five groups for you to choose from. Although, if you feel like you are between two groups, you can adjust the number.

    Macronutrients

We can, and do group all calories into specific macronutrients. They are; fat, carbohydrates, and protein, and each of them has their own calories per gram rating:

    • Fat. – Seven calories per gram.
    • Carbohydrates. – Four calories per gram.
    • Protein. – Four calories per gram.

There is no specific ratio for them, and it will all depend on the type of diet that you are following. For example, a ketogenic diet will require high fat, moderate protein, and almost zero carbs while a “standard” diet issued by a dietitian may advise high protein, moderate carbohydrates, and low fat. Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages, so you will need to explore each and decide which fits you best. Talk to a doctor if you have any issues.

One thing that I would suggest that you do to keep on top of your diet is to plan a few days or a week worth of food in one go. That way, knowing what you are going to have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day will help you understand what you will eat and when.

Divide your daily calories into the number of times that you will eat, and try to stick with a decent macro ratio too. One of the common misconceptions about losing weight is that if you eat a lot of fat and carbohydrates, you will gain weight. While that is true to an extent, you can eat whatever you want if it falls under your TDEE. However, you will not feel terrific without the correct vitamins, minerals, and supplements, if required.

    Vitamins

There are some essential vitamins that you need to consume in certain amounts for you to feel good. That is especially true when you are in a caloric deficit. All of the nutritional information labels will have the vitamins listed on them and in what quantity they are. However, here is a list of essential vitamins that you need to have a day to function at your best: (As an average adult)

    • Vitamin A – 800 – 1000 micrograms
    • Thiamine (B1) – ~1.5 milligrams
    • Riboflavin (B2) – ~1.5 – 2 milligrams
    • Niacin (B3) – 15-20 milligrams
    • Pyridoxine (B6) – ~2 milligrams
    • Vitamin B12 – ~2 micrograms
    • Ascorbic Acid (C) – ~60 milligrams
    • Vitamin D – 5-10 micrograms
    • Vitamin E – 3-10 milligrams
    • Vitamin K – 50-80 micrograms
    • Folic Acid (folate) – 200 micrograms
    • Biotin – 100 – 300 micrograms
    • Pantothenic Acid – 4-7 milligrams

There are times that you need to consume more or less than the recommended levels in the list, so make sure to check with your doctor. You can eat most of the vitamins by eating a variety of whole foods. However, you can get supplements for them if you are intolerant of the foods that contain the vitamins.

    Supplements

There are a vast number of supplements available on the market now, each with their own benefits. Some of the leading dietary supplements are:

    supplements

    • Minerals. – Having a deficiency in minerals such as iron, calcium, etc. can have some health issues. Here is a list of all of the minerals that you need.
    • Vitamins. – As you have seen above, there are recommended intake amounts for each vitamin. You can get supplements for them as an aide if you need it.
    • Fibre. – There are two types of fibre, soluble and insoluble. Soluble attracts water and turns to gel, slowing digestion. Insoluble helps to bulk stool.
    • Prebiotics. – Help to promote the growth of the beneficial bacteria in the intestine, assisting in treatment for digestive issues such as IBS.
    • Amino acids. – Amino acids are building blocks of protein. You may not eat all of the required proteins if you are vegetarian, vegan, or on any other specific diet.
    • Proteins. – Often for bodybuilders and other athletes that require a higher amount of protein to help build, repair, and maintain muscle.
    • Phytonutrients. – Non-essential but still beneficial plant substances that help you feel good.
    • Omega-3 fatty acids. – Assist in serotonin production, making you feel happier.
    • Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). – May assist in increasing muscle mass and strength and promoting weight loss.
    • Antioxidants. – They may help with reducing harmful oxidants in the body.
    • Pre-workout boosters. – Assist in giving you the energy to complete a workout at maximum potential.
    • Post-workout recovery. – Lower recovery times after workouts, and helps the body repair itself quicker.
    • Fat burners. – Assist in burning fat through various means.

There are some of the supplements that are highly beneficial to people who lack them for whatever reason. Whether that is because they train harder than their food intake allows, or if they have a medical condition that requires an excess or top-up of them. You should always use the highest-quality supplements that you can, as some of them are chemical replicas of the nutrient or mineral, which will not help you in the long-run.

    Fitness

Fitness is a massive help to physical and mental health, and you should partake in it as often as possible. There are two main categories that fitness plans come under, or there is a combination of both. The main two groups are:

    • Cardiovascular
    • Strength

Depending on what your goals are, you may want to choose one over the other. However, as we are talking about weight loss, we will tell you which is best after the introduction to each.

    Cardio – Aerobic

Cardio is short for cardiovascular, and exercises that fall under the “cardio” umbrella all exercise the heart and lungs. Those same exercises are called aerobic, too, because you require oxygen to complete and assist in the circulation of oxygen-rich blood around the body. There is a huge amount of cardio exercises that you can do, from brisk walks to marathon running, swimming, hiking, anything that gets your heart and lungs working.

    Weight loss cardio

    Strength – Anaerobic

Strength training is precisely that training for greater strength. Instead of timing your workout, like in cardio, you need to base the completion of training when certain muscles become unable to complete a set-out activity. The inability to move a specific weight or resistance comes from microscopic tears in the muscle fibers, stopping them work as efficiently. The muscles will then repair themselves and grow in the process.

Strength Vs. Cardio For Weight Loss

For straight-up weight loss, cardiovascular training is better. The reason for that is that strength training builds muscle, which is, on average, 15-20% heavier than fat. Therefore, you can lose fat and build muscle, and the scales may even go up.

However, there is something that you may want to consider:

    • One pound of fat will burn 2-3 calories a day.
    • One pound of muscle will burn 7-13 calories a day.

So, you can always do strength training to build muscle, which will help you lose fat weight quicker than not strength training alone. Likewise, cardio will also build muscle and use calories, but it will not make as much muscle as strength training.

A common approach for weight loss is to incorporate both of the training types in one routine so that you build some muscle, burn some calories, and get fitter at the same time.

Weight Loss Guide – Workout Plan

Many plans will get you the desired weight loss, but having one that you do not find too strenuous will be better if you are only just starting in fitness. That way, you will not get too de-motivated from doing it. I have known people who start with great intentions of going to the gym 5 or 6 times a week but fail quickly because it was too much for them to do straight away. Our advice is this:

    • Stick to 3-4 workouts per week
    • Compound exercises (squats, deadlifts, overhead press, rows) 5×5 Stronglfts is a favorite of mine.
    • 30 minutes cardio

Of course, you will have to adjust that plan to suit your capabilities. Try to do as much as you possibly can without burning yourself out, because that is when you start to not look forward to working out; then you will stop.

While I have recommended a workout plan, that doesn’t have to be the one that you do. Choose something that you enjoy doing, especially for the cardio part. Some people do not like lifting weights, and some people detest running. Therefore, you are better to stick with exercises that you know that you enjoy, whether it is hiking, walking, running, weightlifting, bodyweight exercises, etc.

    Conclusion

Losing weight needs a lot more than just a weight loss guide. You have to plan your routine to fit your lifestyle, abilities, and interests. However, overall, the golden ratio is calories consumed minus calories used (TDEE) will equal a weight gain or loss.

Remember the equation that we spoke about for calculating your TDEE, well, do not forget to consider that when planning meals, etc. So, the basic rule of losing weight is this:

    • Calculate your TDEE (including workouts, etc.)
    • Eat less than the TDEE by around 200-500 calories. (it could be helpful for you to plan your calorie intake by week instead of a day. That way, you can have a “cheat meal” on one day, and eat less over the week to compensate.)

When you are exercising, do not rely solely on the numbers on the scale. Your fat percentage will go down if you are following the guide, but your weight might not. Remember to drink plenty of water when you are changing your diet or working out; you will lose a lot of water in the beginning.

    Aesthetics

Aesthetic supplements will enhance the look of one or more parts of the body. The main areas that aesthetic supplements will target are:

    • Skin. – Skin supplements are prevalent. They often cover aspects such as moisture, hydration, elasticity, strength, pigmentation, acne treatments, redness, inflammation, etc.
    • Hair. – Hair products are just as popular as skin. They can provide benefits in the following areas: Growth rate, thickness, strength, shedding rate, and general health.
    • Nails.– Although not quite as popular as hear and skin products, there are still a large number of nail products to help with the growth rate, discoloration, and brittleness.

    nail supplements

    Allergies

Allergies are a common occurrence in many people for many different reasons. Having the right supplements will assist you in coping with some of the worst times that you encounter. Whether that is an allergy to stings, pollen, lactose (milk sugar), or pet hair. There is a wealth of supplements that aim to completely eradicate the symptoms or at least make them more bearable.

    Pollen

There are also other supplements available to allow you to replace some food allergies with other nutrients. For example, you can buy a commercial egg replacement that will enable you to use it in a direct replacement for eggs in baking and cooking.

    Anti-Aging

The design of anti-aging supplements is for slowing the body’s response to old age and slow the degradation of the body from age-related issues. They may slow down damage to chromosomes and their function, along with the task of your mitochondria. The mitochondria generate almost all of a cell’s supply of ATP (adenosine triphosphate). That is an organic chemical form of energy that your cells need to allow proper bodily function.

    anti aging supplements

When you age, your body starts to lose these mitochondria, and thus, you age both mentally and physically. Some supplements enhance the ability of those cells and enable them to survive longer.

    Antioxidants

Antioxidants slow down the rate at which “free radicals” will affect the body, and maybe even stop them altogether. Free radicals found in the body are associated with a lot of human diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinsons, atherosclerosis, and even cancer. To combat free radicals, the body will produce antioxidants of its own. However, sometimes, there are not enough of them in the system to prevent those diseases.

Therefore, antioxidant supplements boost that bodily function to enable a better fighting mechanism.

    Anti-Inflammatory

According to recent medical findings, heart attacks, strokes, cancer, and age-related dementia have a familiar interface: an inflammation that can cause damage completely unnoticed, for example, in the blood vessels, nerve cells, or other body cells. Our lifestyle often has an inflammatory effect today. For example, there is clear evidence that improper eating habits, smoking, taking hormones, or even being overweight and lack of exercise can increase the risk of such inflammation and, thus, of the diseases mentioned. Unfortunately, environmental toxins and electromagnetic radiation can also increase the risk of unnoticed inflammation.

    anti inflamatory

Anti-inflammatory supplements will fight some of the causes of those lifestyle problems. However, you will still need to tackle the root cause.

    Bone and Joint

Bones need the right nutrients to gain strength and mass. Therefore, healthy eating and getting lots of exercise is essential. We reach the highest bone density at the age of 30 to 35 years, after which the breakdown begins slowly. Reason enough to do something preventive for your bones and joints.

    bone supplements

As already mentioned, a healthy bone structure and well-functioning joints are also part of an excellent muscular system. Appropriate nutrition is, therefore, necessary. What do you need? Minerals for the bones, collagen for the joints and carbohydrates and protein for the muscles.

    Cardiovascular

Many supplements promise to prevent heart disease. Others are said to have a positive effect on the success of therapy in cardiac patients. They can help prevent and treat the following: Arrhythmias, heart failure, and strokes.

    heart

    Cognitive Function

Most people think of ginkgo Biloba, ginseng, or guarana when they talk about healthy eating. They have no idea that the vitamins of the vitamin B complex are much more critical for the healthy functioning of the brain. Because, if the brain suffers from a lack of B vitamins, this can manifest itself in a series of mental and cognitive symptoms, such as mental exhaustion, exhaustion, lack of concentration and poor memory. Since the body cannot store most of the B vitamins, they must be taken in regularly and in sufficient quantities through our food or supplements.

    Supplements Guide – Energy

Everyone wants a little more energy than they have. Well, if that is you, then you are in luck. There are many supplements that you can take to increase your day-to-day energy. Whether that is to feel more awake in the mornings or make yourself get out into the wilderness and take a run. Many things can give you the extra boost.

Caffeine Supplement Pill And Coffee Beans

    Eye Health

Whether it is to see well in everyday life into old age, meet the individual requirements of VDU work, strengthen night vision, or maintain eye health. There are still quite a few supplements that offer those benefits to you.

    Fat Loss

The best known are fat burners, which increase the number of calories burned by the body. However, there are appetite suppressants, and moderators of appetite, which help to fight against cravings, thermogenic supplements, or sugar catchers. Some act on the oxidation of fats or diuretics/drainers etc. These supplements can be used during a diet to help the person accelerate their fat loss and overcome the difficulties that can cause them to fail.

    Gut Health

Gut health refers to the balance of microorganisms that live in the digestive tract. Looking after the health of the gut and maintaining the right balance of these microorganisms is vital for physical and mental health, immunity, and more. These bacteria and yeasts — of which there are around 100 trillion — are also called the “gut flora.” Many microbes are beneficial for human health, and some are even essential. However, others can be harmful, especially when they multiply.

    Immune System

Winter is synonymous with the season when it is difficult to obtain fresh local fruits and vegetables, which naturally provide us with vitamins and nutrients to fight the extreme cold. The change of season can be a challenge for the immune system.

    Human Antibodies

Therefore, we recommend paying better attention to the essential elements of good health: practice physical activities, keep a good sleep routine (8 hours a night), constant hydration, and a healthy diet. Since Mother Nature asks us to be better armed, it is sometimes worth turning to a few supplements to add to this healthy routine, which will undoubtedly help you have a better winter, away from the boxes of tissues!

    Insulin Sensitivity

The best way to transform your body is to optimize your sensitivity to insulin. Insulin is the most anabolic and anti-catabolic hormone in the body. It improves the assimilation of amino acids in the muscle and therefore participates in protein synthesis. It also prevents amino acids from being oxidized as an energy fuel. On the other hand, it is the hormone that stores the most fat, recruiting lipids and glucose in adipocytes (fat cells).

    Blood Sugar Testing

Your ability to benefit from the positive effects of insulin (muscle building, fat burning), therefore, depends on your sensitivity to it. If you have good insulin sensitivity, you can have reasonably large carbohydrate intakes. If, on the other hand, you are resistant to insulin, it will be necessary to review your consumption of carbohydrates down, under penalty of storing the calories ingested in the form of fat. But rather than eliminating carbohydrates, it is possible to improve our body’s ability to use carbohydrates well through supplements.

    Liver Health

You may have heard of a heart-healthy lifestyle or a friendly diet. But do you know what nutrients you need for liver health? Where the heart occupies an essential place in many therapeutic regimes, the liver is like the security guard who ensures that toxins do not penetrate very far into your body. And if they do, the liver makes sure they come out as quickly as possible. The liver protects you by fighting infections, cleanses your blood from waste products and toxins like drugs and alcohol, and turns the food you eat into usable energy and nutrients, among other things.

Genetics, poor diet, or excessive drug and alcohol use can contribute to liver disease. However, some supplements can help you regenerate and protect the liver and keep it functioning as well as possible.

    Mood

With the number of people using anti-anxiety and depression medications in the US, there is no doubt that mood improvement is a massive area of concern these days. We work harder than ever, and pressure levels are high, whether you are at home, school, or work. All of this stress can result in a lack of energy, motivation, tension, and satisfaction in life. But there are also mood-enhancing supplements that can help restore balance, improve your mood, and promote feelings of well-being. Most of these supplements work by modulating dopamine and serotonin neurotransmitters in the brain to chemical imbalances.

    mood

In other cases, increasing the blood and oxygen intake of the brain can be very beneficial, not only leading to a better mood but also improved motivation and energy. There are a few options for mood-enhancing supplements that work.

Supplements Guide – Muscle and Exercise

There are quite a few different types of supplements available for the body concerning muscle building, exercise, and fitness. However, they often fit into three main categories:

    Muscle Building

For muscle building to work optimally, you must supply the body with enough nutrients. It is not for nothing that nutrition is a critical factor for your success. To optimize the daily menu, many athletes rely on supplements or dietary supplements. These have the advantage that you can use them to ensure that all the nutrients in the body are readily available in sufficient quantities.

    Muscle Man

If you want to get an idea of dietary supplements as a beginner, you would be surprised how extensive the range is today. There are not only a variety of nutrients in the form of supplements, but they also in very different types and variants. The classic version is probably still the powder. That is available either in larger containers or directly portioned as capsules or tablets. As an alternative to powder, food supplements can also come in the form of gels or bars. Liquid variants are also widespread.

Shakes, in particular, have become an accessible version. These can either be bought directly in the finished drinking form or also as a powder. In the latter, you have to do the mixing yourself. Sometimes dietary supplements can also be found in types that you would not expect as a beginner. A perfect example is protein pancakes.

    Pre-Workout Booster

If you have worked or studied all day, you may be so tired that when you arrive at the gym, you will no longer be able to concentrate and will, therefore, be unable to get what you need out of your exercises to progress. That is precisely when a pre-workout supplement is required to give you strength for the next two hours, strengthen your concentration and support you with muscle training, energy supply, and regeneration.

    Pre Workout Supplement

You must be physically and mentally focused when you start training. If not, your training isn’t intense enough to make progress. Whether you’re just tired or you skipped a meal before going to the gym, you’re still able to do your workout. In such cases, you don’t have to pull yourself together, you take your pre-workout supplement, and you lift your weights within five minutes!

    Post-Workout Recovery

Intense workouts are a vital part of improving your fitness. Pushing your physical limits helps you feel strong. When you benefit from an endorphin surge, your energy, and your positivity reach new heights. However, waking up the next day with pain and stiffness is another story. Although you have certainly succeeded in your workout, you have not taken the right steps for a good recovery.

Just as important as training is what you will do in the next 24 hours to help your body recover. That is the stage in which muscles rebuild and strengthen and where you prepare for your next exercise session. No matter how nutritious your diet is, there can be times when the extra support of a supplement will have its benefits.

    Sleep

Over 80% of people report having some difficulty sleeping, and almost 25% suffer from sleep disorders that are severe enough to affect their overall health. Rest is one of the body’s natural defenses and is essential in the fight against diseases. Researchers have determined that lack of sleep can contribute to long-term medical problems such as:

    • High blood pressure.
    • Diabetes.
    • Obesity.
    • Depression.

    sleep

Melatonin, a natural substance secreted by the pineal gland, plays an essential role in our sleep-wake cycles. With age, the body’s production of melatonin decreases, so supplementation can be a great way to restore optimal levels and prevent sleep disturbances. Choosing a high-quality melatonin supplement can help regulate your sleep-wake cycle without the adverse side effects of medical sleeping pills.

    Testosterone Boosters

Testosterone acts on mood and decreases the reaction to stress. Testosterone also has an anabolic role: it promotes bone and muscle development and stimulates the production of proteins, hence the attraction of high-level athletes. At the same time, testosterone stimulates the production of blood cells (hematopoiesis), which has the consequence of reducing the recovery time after exercise.

Testosterone may not be produced in sufficient quantities in humans if the testis or hypothalamus, the region of the brain that controls the production of testosterone, does not work correctly. The lack of testosterone then leads to problems of sexual impotence and reduced libido. A lack of testosterone can also be an issue for overweight people since the increase in fat mass stimulates the transformation of testosterone into estrogen, a feminizing hormone which is likely to create breast growth. There are testosterone booster supplements available to help combat those issues.

    Conclusion

This article is only a quick look into some of the primary supplements that you have available to you, no matter what you want them for. In future articles, we may look deeper into each of them. However, as we have said, please ensure that you seek advice from a medically trained professional before using any of the supplements, as there can be adverse effects between medications, and you may be intolerant to some of them that we have spoken about. Remember to have a look at the nutrition section of our website for more information.

  • Best Pre Workout Supplements Buying Guide

Best Pre Workout Supplements Buying Guide

There are many supplements available for those of us who like to work out. One of the leading supplement types is the ones that you take before going to the gym or for a run. Those are called pre workout supplements, and this is our guide to the best options available.

Best Pre Workout Supplements Buying Guide

They are so popular because the daily stresses that we go through, often leave us lacking in energy for making our training sessions the best they can be. Whether that is a lack of sleep, a hard day, or stress, pre workout supplements will help you get a better workout. In this article, we are going to look at the best types of supplements that you can use to ensure that you’re at your optimum for every workout, no matter what life throws at you.

    Pre Workout Supplements

A list of the significant pre workout supplements are:

    • Caffeine
    • Creatine Monohydrate
    • Beta-Alanine
    • Citrulline Malate
    • BCAA’s

We will look at each of them in a little more detail, and how they can help you with your workout no matter what sort of a day you have had. Before we do that, though, we will have a quick look at what those supplements can help you with:

    • Focus
    • Strength Capacity
    • Endurance
    • Fatigue manipulation
    • Muscle building

The majority of the supplements that you will find in this article will allow an increase in all of those aspects. However, some more than others. Read on to find out which is best.

    1. Caffeine – Best Pre Workout Supplement

We all know how well caffeine can perform when needing an energy boost. It is also the number one ingredient that you will find in almost all pre workout booster supplements. When the time comes to get motivated for a gym session, the mental and physical changes you receive from caffeine is sure to make a difference.

Caffeine is absorbed into the bloodstream relatively quickly. The maximum value can be determined after 45 to 90 minutes, depending on the dose administered. With smaller doses (3 mg/kg body weight), the caffeine level does not rise as much as with higher doses (6-9 mg/kg body weight).

Caffeine ensures that your body does not consume the glycogen stores in the muscles and liver, and therefore, primarily fat is used as an energy supplier. That is an immense advantage, especially for endurance athletes, because they have energy over a more extended time. But not only endurance athletes but also bodybuilders, fitness athletes, etc. benefit from this effect.

In addition to increased fat burning, caffeine also improves breathing by relaxing the respiratory muscles so that oxygen can be absorbed more efficiently.

Another often discussed aspect is when to take it. The general opinion tends to say to consume caffeine as a so-called pre workout before strength training.

Why? The answer is simple. As mentioned above, caffeine has a stimulating effect. The goal after training should be a sufficient regeneration phase, which is prevented by a stimulus. Therefore, the recommendation is to consume caffeine before rather than after exercise. Also, you should avoid it for about 2-4 hours after training.

    2. Creatine

Creatine is probably the most popular nutritional supplement. It promises muscle building, more strength, and more anaerobic performance. Because it is so popular, it has been the subject of countless studies in recent years. Therefore, we know a lot more about creatine than ever. In the meantime, the miracle drug is even said to have a positive influence on the aging process, memory, and cell protection.

When building muscle, the property of promoting strength and mass gain is, of course, particularly important. However, in sports science, some other positive effects of creatine are now known, which every athlete should use for themselves: With creatine, your endurance increases, therefore, you can lift more reps before exhaustion. Although there are countless studies on the effect of creatine for workouts, there are very few that show when it should be taken. Moreover, it is the frequency that you take it. We will do an article about creatine in the future, but for now, so long as you consume it just before, or just after a workout, the effects are similar. That is why we suggest taking it as a pre workout supplement.

    3. Beta-Alanine

Beta-alanine is the perfect companion to creatine. What creatine lacks in endurance capabilities, beta-alanine adds. Likewise, what beta-alanine lacks in strength, creatine will add. It is like taking a complete all-rounder supplement for the best workout that you can have. There are three main benefits to the compound:

    • Quicker recovery between sets. The recovery time will allow you to push harder on the next set, therefore breaking down more muscle fibers. In turn, that allows for a better muscle growth rate.
    • Higher endurance rate. If you focus your gym time more on cardio, beta-alanine will allow you to get more time, distance, and all-round performance before exhaustion.
    • ATP replacement while resting. ATP (Adenosine triphosphate) is the primary biochemical muscle energy source. If you have depleted ATP, you will burn out faster. Beta-alanine will ensure there is a full reserve waiting for you during your workout.

    4. Citrulline Malate

As if creatine and beta-alanine were not good enough on their own, citrulline malate makes the combination even better. If you were to think of creatine as 80% strength, 20% endurance, beta-alanine as the opposite, citrulline malate is a compound that fits directly in the middle of the two. It has three main functions:

    • Removal of toxins. The body produces a few toxins when you workout, such as ammonia and lactic acid. This compound allows for a better urea cycle for removing those toxins, reducing muscle fatigue, and increasing endurance.
    • Increases Nitric oxide. Nitric oxide increases blood flow, thus increasing oxygen transportation to the required muscles, and it also increases nutrient intake to ensure that all of your protein does not go to waste.
    • ATP production. As with beta-alanine, citrulline malate will increase the production of ATP for increased endurance.

As you can see, adding all three of the benefits that are above is undoubtedly going to increase your performance. Therefore, it is clear to see why citrulline malate is an ideal pre workout compound to use.

    5. BCAA’s

Protein is such a significant factor in muscle growth. You need more muscle for almost everything that you can do when you are working out. Well, the protein comprises of branch chain amino acids (BCAA’s). The three main BCAA’s you will see used for sports are:

    • Leucine
    • Isoleucine
    • Valine

While the primary amino acid that you need for muscle growth is Leucine, the other two acids add to the effects and increase performance and energy levels. That fact is especially true if you have not eaten properly before your workout. You should take BCAA’s before, during, and after a workout for optimal results.

    Conclusion

All of the above supplements are wonderful for a pre workout boost. However, as you have seen, there are many complementing factors that each of them holds. So, when you are looking for the best pre workout supplements, you need to ensure that it has these items in it. There are a lot of companies who fill their products with things that are of minimal benefit to you to bulk up the other elements. Always make sure that you read the descriptions and ingredients before you buy something.

Not to mention how good they all are, but there is also scientific backing for all of them too. So, instead of wasting your money on fillers and stuff that does not help you, a small investment in the right products will give you an immense return in muscle, strength, and endurance.

Post Workout Supplements – Whey Protein Isolate

Whey protein is an enormous selling fitness supplement in the world. That is for a good reason, too. As you have read above, when you train your muscles, you are tearing them. The redevelopment of those muscles is what causes them to grow.  There is slightly more to how that works, but for this article, all you need to know is that the rebuilding of the muscles requires protein.

While foods like chicken and red meat have high amounts of protein in them, isolated whey protein has a higher Biological Value to it than any other source. That is providing you buy high-quality stuff. For example, meat proteins have a biological value of up to 80. It was once stated that eggs had the highest BV. Therefore, eggs were rated at a max BV of 100. However, with the introduction of whey protein isolate, the scale had to be increased to 157, and that is where this protein sits.

There is some more science behind using whey isolate, but one tip that I suggest is to take it with milk instead of water, as the casein protein in milk will slow the absorption rate. With a timed release of the isolate comes to a higher absorption ability as the half-life is relatively short.

    Fast Releasing Carbohydrates

You need insulin after your workout period. As you may know, your muscles store glycogen for use during a workout. Replenishing those stores is crucial to recovery and the ability to work out again the next time that you are due to go to the gym. Fast replenishment of those stores is just as critical. While you may have heard that you need to eat some complex carbs to do that, you also need an insulin spike to transport the glycogen to the muscles.

The way that you get that spike is through simple carbohydrates. While you can eat some candy, that is not the best option. Supplementing your post-workout protein with some complex carbs such as oats and some simple carbs will replenish them as quickly as possible. So, which simple carbs do you need?

    • Dextrose
    • Maltodextrin

Those will also increase protein synthesis to repair the damaged muscles quicker, too.

    Creatine Powder

Yes, it makes an appearance in the pre-workout and post-workout. The theory of taking creatine after training has received positive confirmation from a study published by the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition, which studied a group of 19 bodybuilders by giving them 5 grams creatine either before or after training. They trained five times a week and also took 5 grams of creatine during their rest days, at any time of the day.

The study has become popular because it highlights that taking creatine after training is more effective than taking it before. However, this difference in efficiency is in no way significant since it is less than 5%! The researchers, therefore, suggest that there is a difference, but this is extremely small. The best way to get around it, in our opinion, is to take half of your daily dosage before the gym, and half after.

    BCAA’s

Branched-chain amino acids are immensely helpful for a few things. When you work out, you run the risk of going into a catabolic state. That means that you start to break down the fat and muscles to use them as energy. While that may sound good, it is only useful if you limit the use to your fat tissues. However, that is not possible without supplementing your pre-workout with BCAA’s.

That is why you are advised to take BCAA’s in your pre-workout shake. However, you also need to help the muscles recover at a maximum rate. Therefore, implementing BCAA’s into your post-workout routine will assist you in building and repairing them as effectively as possible. Also, when you have off days or weeks, where you do not go to the gym, you will start to break down your muscles. Which, again, is not something that you want. Therefore, you should take them on days off, too.

You can buy BCAA’s in a powder or tablet form, and either of them is excellent. However, ensure that it contains the correct amount of the three primary acids:

    • Leucine – promotes recovery by stimulating protein synthesis, helping the recovery, and improving muscle growth.
    • Isoleucine – Reduces tiredness and fatigue.
    • Valine – Prevent the breakdown of muscle by supplying them with extra glucose.

    Taurine

If you are only beginning your gym journey, then you may not have heard about many of the supplements in this pre-workout guide. However, taurine is probably one that you have heard of before. It is in a lot of energy drinks. So, next time you have one, have a look at the ingredients, and you will probably see it in there. It is one of the many naturally occurring amino acids that you will find, but taurine is in high quantities throughout the central nervous system, muscles, and white blood cells.

If you are a vegetarian, taurine is of high importance to you, as it is most commonly consumed from fish and meat. However, let’s look at how it will help you as a post-workout supplement. Muscle recovery is the aim of all these supplements, and as you know, your body needs water for a lot of things such as repairing damaged cells and removing toxins. Taurine is a cell “volumizer” and draws water to the muscle cells. Although that gives you a more significant appearance, it is not the primary function. With the water, it also brings nutrients such as protein and glycogen to help the repair process. You do not need a lot of this supplement, but it will undoubtedly give you a great benefit.

    Conclusion

You can buy specific post-workout supplements as a whole package, or you can buy them individually and add them together to make your own. If that is something that you want to do, I suggest that you buy all of the items on this list and add them to some fruit juice to increase your simple carbohydrate intake at the same time. Or, if you are making a protein shake with the isolate, you can add them to that instead.

Whichever way you want to do it, taking the pre-workout supplements and post-workout supplements at the right time will give you much better results than not having them. However, do not forget proper nutrition at other times n the day. These will not compensate for eating pizza seven days a week.

Keto Diet – The Ultimate Guide To The Ketogenic Diet

Almost everyone who has the internet or TV has heard about the keto diet. However, what do you know about it? Do you know what you can and can’t eat? How often? What foods you have to avoid? Well, in this article, we are going to tell you the answer to all of those and more.

The primary way that you have possibly heard about it is through celebrities that have done it and shed loads of weight. To name a few:

    • Halle Berry
    • Kourtney Kardashian
    • Gwyneth Paltrow

I think that the issue with seeing these celebrity diets is that there are often huge misconceptions as to whether they work or not. Well, hopefully, by the end of this article, you will know everything that you need to know about the keto diet.

    Keto Diet History

The ketogenic diet has been around since before it was coined in 1921 by Dr. Russell Morse Wilder. However, in those times, it was developed primarily as a treatment for refractory epilepsy, meaning that it does not respond to medication. Of course, since then, a lot has changed. Although in treating epilepsy it is still being used, it has crossed into a more mainstream form of diet, and with some fantastic results.

At the outset of the research into the keto diet, the liver showed to produce three water-soluble compounds from the liver when starved or consumed very low carbohydrates. It is certainly worth noting, though, that the body was otherwise healthy. Those three compounds were, and still are, known collectively as ketones. Hence the name “ketogenic diet.”

Research continued its course towards epilepsy in children until its US national media exposure in October 1994. It was then that the diet got exposure from Jim Abraham’s two-year-old son having treatment for epilepsy. From then, the Abrahams family created the Charlie Foundation to promote the diets funding and research. In 2007, Jim Abraham produced a film inspired by his experiences with the diet, and a boom of interest ensued.

However, the first mainstream diet plan that was widely known as the Atkins diet. Although the Atkins diet got developed in the early 1970s, it was a much stricter form of the keto diet. Therefore, in this article, we will be focusing on the ketogenic diet as a whole instead of individual plans. Although, we will go into Dr. Atkins’s formula in the diet plan section.

Since the publication of Dr. Atkins’ book, released in 2003, and the ketogenic diet interest peak in 2007, there has become a considerable rise in knowledge and interest in the diet plan as a whole.

    What Is the Keto Diet

As you have seen in the history section, the control of the keto diet is by almost irradicating carbohydrates from the menu. However, the same energy needs to enter the body as before. You do that by increasing your fat intake to compensate. When the body provided with only small amounts of carbohydrates, it goes into a state of ketosis. That is when those three ketones are produced by the liver and enter the bloodstream. However, before you completely stop eating carbohydrates, there are still some things that you need to know about the diet.

    Keto meal

So, ketogenic diets are a form of low carb diet, but there are still differences. For example, the level of carbohydrate intake allowed per day. There are several different ways to reach the required intake, and we will go through them in a little while. As a rule, this is the main difference between a low carb diet and a ketogenic diet:

    • A Low carb diet consists of a restricted intake of carbohydrates.
    • A ketogenic diet almost deletes carbs.

Again, we will go into that in further detail later on in the article.

    Benefits Of A Keto Lifestyle

Yes, that’s right. Ketogenic diets are much more than just-food. They are more of a lifestyle. Not only because you need to know how to eat, but because it has a lot of benefits to it. There are various key benefits to go along with reducing seizures, and we will go through them now.

    Helps With Weight Loss

Of course, this is usually the main reason that people want to try any diet. However, as we have stated before, ketogenic diets are a lifestyle. The basis of the weight loss is because you transform your body from a carb consumer into a fat burner. You will be burning fat as your primary energy source. Therefore, you will be allowing your body to use your reserves as fuel when it is hungry.

    keto weight loss

Furthermore, it consumes more energy to turn fat into energy than it does carbohydrates. So it is a double-edged sword in the hands of weight loss.

    Keto Decreases Blood Glucose

People who have type 2 diabetes often advised to control carbohydrate intake. That is because both simple and complex carbohydrates get broken down into sugar and lead to blood sugar spikes.

Changing your primary fuel source from carbohydrates to fat will, in most cases, reduce your blood sugar level and help control and even eliminate diabetes.

    May Help Reduce Cancer Risks

Because of the increased funding into research of the ketogenic diets, there has been discovery to show that it may help reduce risks and even help to fight certain cancers. In one study located in the National Center for Biotechnology Information, shows that chemotherapy can encourage cancerous cells to increase their glucose levels to compensate for the treatment. However, cancerous cells that are not provided with the carbohydrates to raise their glucose levels are much more susceptible to treatment. Therefore, increasing the effectiveness of treatment and increase therapy response.

    Keto and cancer

There have been studies conducted on insulin’s role in the development of cancers such as breast and uterine cancer. It shows that women with the highest levels of insulin in their blood had more than double the risk of breast and uterine cancer than those with low insulin levels. As the ketogenic diet does not contain sugar, insulin is not required, and the pancreas will almost completely stop production.

    Increases Skin Health

Other studies conducted have shown a possible direct relationship between skin health, acne, and carbohydrate intake. They have shown that there is a considerable possibility that lowering carbohydrate levels can be used as a preventative and reactive measure against acne.

    acne

Various foods are encouraged to eat throughout the keto diet that is great for promoting skin health and condition. The benefits include:

    • Lower insulin for preventing acne.
    • The higher amounts of good fats improve skin health.
    • Less sugar keeps collagen healthy to slow the aging appearances of the skin.
    • Omega 3&6 can prevent sun damage to the skin.
    • High vitamin A foods promote skin cell production, prevents skin damage and infection.

    Keto Reduces Bad Cholesterol

In this study, it proved that after 24 weeks of following the ketogenic diet, HDL cholesterol increased significantly, while LDL cholesterol decreased significantly. Also, the level of triglycerides decreased by a significant amount, too.

    • HDL. – High-density lipoprotein (good cholesterol)
    • LDL. – Low-density lipoprotein (bad cholesterol)
    • Triglycerides. – Excess fat carried in the blood.

    Assists Brain Functioning

Ketosis and brain function does require more research, and it is being carried out. However, studies have shown that ketogenic diets provide a significant brain function improvement in people with Alzheimer’s disease compared to non-ketogenic diets.

As it has also proven that the diet helps control seizures, it has lead researchers to believe that ketones are a better fuel source for the brain than carbohydrates.

    Helps With Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

A pilot study carried out in women with PCOS showed that over 24 weeks, they had the following benefits:

    • Weight reduction.
    • Hormone balance.
    • It improved fasting insulin levels.
    • Two of the women became pregnant despite previous infertility.

As you have seen, there are many health benefits to a keto diet. Now, let’s get into the actual eating part of the food.

    Keto Diet Foods

So, as you have already seen, the ketogenic diet is based around a high fat, low carb nutritional intake. But you may be asking yourself what foods you can eat. In this section, we will look at the foods that are considered good and bad for ketogenic diets:

    Good Food Bad Food
High fat cheese, Cottage cheese, Cream, Butter, Plain yogurt Rice, Pasta,
    Eggs Oats, Oatmeal
    Seafood Wheat
    Meat and Poultry Bread
Coconut oil, Olive oil High carb vegetables, Potatoes, Carrots, Peas, Parsnips, etc.
    Olives Fruit, Dried, Smoothies, Juice
Tea and coffee Carbonated drinks (not sugar-free)
Some berries, Nuts, and seeds Milk
    Avocados Fat-free yogurt
Low carb Vegetables Legumes, Kidney beans, Chickpeas, etc.

That list is by no means extensive. You will have to work out what you can and cannot eat on the ketogenic diet plans before you start and as you go through it. However, we will go through the planning stages in the next section.

    Keto Diet Plan

First, you have to work out your macros. That is likely to be a one time process as you will get used to the diet and foods you can and cannot eat pretty quickly.

Macros is a short way of saying macronutrients. They are the building blocks of all the food that you consume:

    • Fat. – Nine calories per gram
    • Protein. – Four calories per gram
    • Carbohydrates. – Four calories per gram

Calculating your macros will first require you to calculate the daily required caloric intake. Otherwise known as Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE). Many websites will do this for you, but this is my favorite.

After you have found out your TDEE, you want to remove a percentage of that to allow for weight loss. Although the keto diet is very good at increasing weight loss, you will still need to account for a slight drop in calories. Approximately 500 calories per day is sufficient to start with as a deficit.

    healthy keto breakfast

Do not worry, though; the keto diet will stop you feeling hungry as it will burn your fat reserves. Now that you know the amount of calories that you should be eating, you need to work out what percentage of each macro that includes.

Generally speaking, keto diet macros will vary depending on goals, body fat, activity levels, etc. However, this guide is a pretty good rule of thumb:

    • 70-80% fat.
    • 20-25% Protein.
    • 5-10% Carbohydrates.

As you can see, the vast majority of calorific intake should be through fat. Hence, it should be made up of primarily monounsaturated, saturated, and some polyunsaturated fats. A moderate amount of protein is required for muscle mass retention, and if you do not have that, you will feel weak and lethargic.

    Diet Menu

Now that you know the food types that you can and cannot eat, it can be quite confusing to understand how to put those into three meals a day. As I have already said, your primary focus should be lowering carb intake, increasing fat intake, and maintaining a decent level of protein.

To get you started, we have devised a few meals that you can use to get used to the transition and work out your plans yourself. However, we will not go into massive detail about how to cook them as they do not need a massive amount of explanation. However, keep an eye out on our nutrition page for specific, detailed recipes.

    Keto Breakfasts

As with any diet, breakfasts are still one of the most important of the day. Therefore, breaking your fast with decent nutrients and calories will allow your body to wake up and feel as good as it can.

    Breakfast 1 – Cheese omelet:

      • 1-2 eggs
      • 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
      • 1 tbsp coconut oil
      • 2-3oz of mature cheddar
      • Two mushrooms
      • 1/2 oz baby spinach

Mix the eggs, cream, and coconut oil into the omelet mixture and make as a regular omelet.

Breakfast 2 – Basic scrambled eggs

    • 1-2 eggs
    • 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
    • 2 tbsp butter
    • 2oz mature cheddar

Melt the butter into a pan, mix the rest of the ingredients in and cook. Simple!

Breakfast 3 – Bacon and eggs

    • Two eggs
    • 3 or 4 rashers of bacon
    • Some low carb greens

Cook the bacon in a pan and use the bacon fat for cooking the eggs. Simple again!

There are many more options that you can use for breakfast. However, those three are the easiest and lowest carb breakfasts that you can use to get you started.

    Keto Lunch

Lunch and dinner can often be interchanged quite quickly, depending on what you fancy at the time. Therefore, to keep it simple, we will base these ideas on traveling to work.

    Lunch 1 – Chicken Salad

    • A boneless chicken breast
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • 1 Avacado
    • A few cherry tomatoes
    • 1/4 red onion
    • Four asparagus stems
    • One clove of garlic and some oil for dressing.

Peel and dice the avocado, slice the onion, chop the tomatoes, and cut the asparagus stems. Fry the chicken, put all of the ingredients into a container, drizzle with oil, and crushed garlic.

    Lunch 2 – Egg salad

    • Eggs. – use as many as you want.
    • An avocado
    • A little lemon juice to preserve the avocado
    • 1/3 cup full-fat mayonnaise
    • Dijon mustard to taste.

Hard boil the eggs and peel. Mash the avocado and mix with mayo mustard, chopped boiled eggs, and lemon juice. Put into the container and chill until needed.

    Keto Dinners

Most of the dinners are slightly more involved in terms of cooking, so I will only give simple instructions to show how easy they are.

    Dinner 1 – Taco Pie

    • Ground beef. – High fat is excellent this time!
    • Taco seasoning. – Check carb content of individual packet
    • Eggs
    • Heavy cream
    • garlic
    • Shredded cheese.

Fry the beef until cooked and broken up. Add seasoning and cook while combining the other ingredients, leaving out the cheese. Put the meat into a pie pan, top with the egg mixture, sprinkle the cheese, and bake. Easy. However, remember to serve with some low carb greens!

    Dinner 2 – Garlic Salmon

    • Salmon fillets
    • Butter
    • Garlic
    • Lemon zest
    • Asparagus

Melt some butter onto a baking tray, mix garlic, and lemon zest into remaining butter. Place salmon fillets onto the baking dish, cover in garlic butter mixture. Place asparagus onto the dish with the salmon and bake until cooked.

As you have seen, keto diet foods can be pretty easy to plan and cook once you know what you are doing. I think that the hardest part about any diet is getting into it and understanding it in a way that you can customize it to fit your lifestyle.

    Keto Supplements

As with all diets, there are supplements and tablets available that will assist you in getting into ketosis and staying there. Some supplements will help you get some of the more difficult nutrients until your body gets used to the transition period. Some of the most common keto-friendly supplements that you can buy are:

    Vitamin supplement pills

    • Magnesium
    • MCT oil
    • Vitamin D
    • Exogenous ketones
    • Electrolytes
    • Powdered greens
    • Digestive enzymes
    • Omega 3

Although I have given you this list, it is not always necessary that you take all of them. Some people adapt to the diet very well without any of the supplements, while others need a few to adjust and can then stop taking them. You have to assess each case on how you feel you are functioning at the time.

    Keto FAQ

In this section, we will cover some of the most commonly asked questions about keto diets. However, this will not cover everything that gets asked. If you have any questions, please feel free to keep a lookout on our homepage for updates.

How Long Does It Take To Reach Ketosis?

Ketone production begins after the depletion of glycogen stores. Therefore, when you reach ~20g net carbs, it will take no more than 24 hours. That is, however, providing you do not go over that limit.

How Do I Know I Am In Ketosis?

Sometimes, there are physical indications for entering into ketosis — for example, changes in urine. However, you can buy test indicator strips to check.

    Is Testing For Ketosis Necessary?

No, you will see other physical symptoms, such as decreased appetite.

Do I Need To Eat My Total Fat Macro?

If you are trying to lose weight, the simple answer is no. However, bear in mind that you still need to consume less than ~20g net carbs, and enough fat to provide yourself with energy.

Is More Protein Than Fat, OK?

As a general rule, no. But that is based on caloric intake, and remember that fat has a higher caloric value per gram than protein. Therefore, you do not need to eat more weight of fat. There are times in which more protein is ok, such as bodybuilding, but for general rule, keep to higher fat quantities.

Won’t Eating Fat Make Me Fat?

A huge misconception that has taken over the planet is that fat makes you fat. When in fact, excess calories of any type will cause you to gain weight.

    What About Sugar Alcohols?

Sugar alcohols are sweeteners found in sugar-free food, drinks, and chewing gum. That is not an overly easy question to answer because everyone has different tolerances to different Polyols (sugar alcohols). However, the advice is that the high Glycemic Index Polyols are avoided, such as Maltitol and Xylitol. If you have any issues during any phase of ketosis, you should remove sugar alcohols first.

    Conclusion

Transitioning between a “regular” diet and a ketogenic diet can be a daunting task. However, if you do the correct research, take in as much information as you can about the ways that keto diets work, you can make the change effortlessly.

There are many books and programs available to guide you deeper into the knowledge required, so take advantage of them. Get healthy, lose weight, therefore feel better in yourself with a ketogenic diet!

  • Earplugs – Here Are Twelve Of The Best Types You Can Buy

Earplugs – Here Are Twelve Of The Best Types You Can Buy

We have all wanted a bit of noise reduction, whether on the train, trying to work, or getting a good night’s sleep next to your snoring partner. There are various ways in which you can try to eliminate those noises, from headphones, foam earplugs, white noise or even a pillow over the ears. But we are in the 21st century now. We don’t have to rely on those uncomfortable and unreliable methods anymore.

So, what can we do instead? Well, you can now buy ear plugs that have a lot more technology behind them than you would imagine. First of all, let’s have a look at the options that you have:

    • Simple
    • Hi-Fidelity or Musicians
    • Electronic
    • Custom earplugs
    • Sleep specific
    • Flight ear protection

As you can see, there are probably more options for ear plugs than you may have first thought when you clicked on this article. Throughout this article, I will go into some more detail about each type and how they work.

    Simple Expanding Foam Earplugs

If you have ever worked in a factory or any other industrial workplace with loud noises, you have probably seen and used these, as they are the best earplugs for industrial use, as they are cheap, disposable, made with soft foam, and as simple as earplugs come. However, if you are looking for a good night’s sleep, you may need to look at the others.

    disposable earplugs

Often made from soft foam, they are the most common and fundamental forms of hearing protection and noise reduction. They are easy to use by simply rolling them into a small cylinder, inserting them into the ear, and holding until the soft foam has expanded. Simple ear plugs work by sealing the ear canal to block the vibrations that would otherwise reach the eardrum.

However, they can become pretty uncomfortable after wearing them for any length of time.  Also, if you use these ear plugs for sleeping, you may well discover the occlusion effect. That is where body sounds such as chewing can not escape through the ear canal and reflect backward towards the eardrum. Foam earplugs are great for noise reduction but are awful for side sleepers.

    Hi-Fidelity or Musician’s Earplugs

There are times that you do not want to have all sound around you dulled. For those times, you have the option to use hi-fidelity or musicians’ earplugs. However, even hi-fi earplugs come in a range of styles and designs, all with their pros and cons.

The basis behind their operation is that they provide clear hearing but with some noise reduction. Some of the best that we have seen are the earasers; they are similar in design style to other, non-battery operated hi-fi earplugs. However, there are still differences to the un-powered earplug.

Tunnel, filter, cores, and valves are the four types of technology for un-powered hi-fi earplugs that you are likely to see at the moment. However, there is a lot of uncertainty about whether the valve style of protection is useful. I will go into that in a minute.

    Open Tunnel Earplugs

The use of a tunnel is a simple method of lowering the amount of sound that can physically reach the eardrum by reducing the ear canal’s size. They are very similar in appearance to the filter varients that you will see in a moment. However, they are the cheapest option that you have other than the disposable foam plugs above. That is because they are basically the same but have a tunnel in the center of them to allow small amounts of noise into the ear.

The issue that you may find with this design is that the tunnel will be more receptive to allowing specific frequencies to pass through than others. Therefore, you will end up with a muffled sound that is unlike hearing without them in at all.

Filter Earplugs (Single or Double Filter)

As we are talking about the un-powered filter earplugs, we will only be looking at the passive designs.

    filter earplugs

As you can see from the image above, the basic principle is pretty simple. The outer flanges of the silicone earplugs act a lot like earbuds used for gaming, etc. They produce a seal around the ear canal and stop the soundwaves from passing to the eardrum. However, you will notice that. As with the tunnel earplugs above, there is a tunnel that goes all the way through the earplug. The difference between these and the tunnel plugs is that these have two filters inside.

Now is where things can start to get complicated. Those two filters will reduce noise at different frequencies depending on the material used for them. As you can also see from the image above, the outermost filter is removable to allow more sound through to your eardrum. Still not very comfortable for side sleepers, though.

However, this is not the only type of available filter earplugs.

    Diaphragm Filters

Again, diaphragm filter earplugs are similar in principle to the cheaper filter plugs that you see above. However, they are quite a lot different in operation, and nothing like foam earplugs.

    Diaphragm Filters

The blue section of the silicone earplugs above is a mechanical diaphragm that works by resonating at the same frequency as the sound entering them. Because it is the sound that is making the diaphragm move, it takes energy out of the sound-waves and then passed through a tunnel and into your ear canal.

Some diaphragm earplug models have exchangeable diaphragms for differing amounts of sound reduction, often from around -3 to -30dB. Depending on the brand and model that you buy, there are some excellent diaphragm filter earplugs. They are relatively good earplugs for sleeping, but side sleepers may want to do a trial run before spending all night in them; they are certainly better than foam earplugs, though.

    Cores

Again, nothing like foam earplugs, core earplugs are a little bit of a meld between filter and diaphragm earplugs. The majority of filter earplugs come with pre-installed filters, and diaphragm earplugs often come with the option for different diaphragms for different circumstances. Core silicone earplugs have different cores for different situations.

    core plugs

For more information about core earplugs, check out our article about Quiet Buds

    Mechanical Hairspring Valves

As I said earlier, there is some uncertainty about whether the mechanical valves are as useful as intended. Take a look at this next image of the inner workings of one of the first mechanical valve earplugs available.

    Valve plugs

Although there is slightly more to it than my explanation here, there is a fundamental principle behind them. The plug is inserted from the left-hand side of the image (EAR INSERT CUSHION) with the center hole going from inside the ear canal to the outside (HAIRSPRING CHAMBER). The valve stays open at average talking volumes and allows the noise to pass through easily into the ear canal.

However, before you go out and buy some, there is one pretty significant downfall to them. That is, physical valves are mechanical. Therefore, they have a mass that requires moving to close them off, which takes time.

The biggest issue with that is the time it takes to close the valve, which is always at the outset of the loud noise, which is the most damaging to the ear. Although the Lee Sonic Ear-Valve (Not an earplug, as advertised) is not available for sale anymore, the basic principle remains in use. Mechanical valves have made their way into some other, newer earplugs such as the Sonic Valve Shooters Plugs.

Unfortunately, the same points of criticism were made with these, as was the original design. There are still some very great products in this range with some brilliant reviews.

    Electronic Earplugs

Electronic or active earplugs are the newest innovation in the hearing prevention world. There are a lot of different brands of active earplugs on the market now, but really, there are only three main sections that they come under:

    • Sport/Tactical
    • Music
    • Sleep

However, the basis behind the sport and music variety is pretty similar. Only the earplugs for sleep are slightly different, but we will go into that in a little while.

    Sport/Tactical Active Earplugs

Some sports, such as shooting and motorsports, have similar noise properties as tactical environments. You need to hear what is going on around you, but you may be subject to sudden loud noises, either from gunshots or loud engines, etc.

The active control circuit in the earplugs uses high-quality, highly responsive microphones to detect volume levels and reduce or increase them as required. Yes, you read that right; some earplugs can even increase the volume when needed.

    3m-tactical-earplug-tep-100

The United States Law enforcement and military both use these to hear their environment a lot more than standard earplugs will allow. However, as with all hearing protection, they have to fit well into the ear to allow for excellent sound reduction. Therefore, there will be some noise reduction just by wearing them, even if they are turned off. That could be the difference between life and death in some cases.

So, companies like 3M (who also make the foam earplugs) have designed Tactical Earplugs that both amplify soft, quiet sounds such as normal speech and reduce loud damaging noises like gunshots. They are certainly not earplugs for sleeping with!

    Musicians

Very similar in design technology to the tactical earplugs. However, they are much less rugged and can often have better sound quality. Earplugs like the 3M above are waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, but you are not likely to get any waterproofing at all with musician variants.

Although the physical abilities are not similar, they all still work in the same fashion. They both use a microphone to detect noise levels and a circuit to either increase or decrease noise levels allowed into the ear.

Because of the lack of requirement for ruggedness, musician earplugs can have more technology money spend on clarity, and you still pay the same money, if not less. However, they are still the best earplugs for music players of all types.

    Sleep Specific Electronic Earplugs

There are an awful lot of websites that I have seen saying that hi-fi earplugs are great earplugs for sleep. If you have used them and found the same, then excellent. They only cancel out some noise. They lower the overall volume to a certain amount and still allow in some ambient noise.

Bose, the company that pioneered noise-canceling technology, actually found that noise masking, with something like white noise, is a better option for a good sleep due to the occlusion effect that we spoke about earlier in the article. If you have tried to sleep with standard earplugs in, then you may have found that you can wake yourself up with your snoring. These are, by far, the best earplugs for sleep.

    Custom Molded Earplugs

Custom earplugs are as they sound. First, you have a mold of your ears taken at either an audiologist or the company that you buy the earplugs. The company then makes the custom plugs to fit perfectly in your ears, and they can have any of the above features built into them.  They are, by far, the most comfortable, best earplugs that you can buy. These are how foam earplugs want to work! However, if you plan on having extras such as electronic inserts, then be ready to pay more.

    custom molded

If you take a look back at the red valve earplugs earlier in the article, you will see that they, too, are custom-molded plugs with the valves inserted. Custom-molded earplugs are one of the best types of earplugs for sleeping if you want a good night’s sleep, even for side sleepers.

    Flight Ear Protection Earplugs

Yes, you can get specific earplugs for flying. Do you know that feeling of pressure building up or dropping from your ears? It is painful, isn’t it? Well, you can buy specific flight earplugs that help with the pressure differences. Take a look at the image below:

As you can just about see, these bulbous earplugs have tiny vent holes in each end of them. The soft silicone inserts’ design takes up the pressure differences between the airplane cabin and the inner ear as quickly as it builds up or drops off. The tiny vent holes give your ears more time to adjust to the pressure differences to stop the pain. However, you may need to try a few out before getting the right ones for you. Here are a few of the best that we have found:

QUIET BUDS (Click to read our own review)

    Conclusion

As you have seen throughout this article, there are many different earbuds from which you can choose. Making the right decision for you will depend mainly on what you intend to do with them. If you aim to sleep better, though, I still highly recommend the Quiet Buds. They remove all unwanted sounds and replace them with soothing, relaxing tones to help you sleep.

Arthroforce Revital Reviews, Ingredients and Price

When joints ache, this is always a problem and restricts one’s quality of life. In the past, people lived with the fact that the older they got, the more limited they were. In the meantime, you no longer have to put up with it. Products like Bodyfokus Arthroforce Revital help to get this problem under control, improve your own quality of life and become more mobile. We have summarized below how this works. In addition, we have undertaken a test to prove the effect.

Bodyfokus Arthroforce Revital Ingredients and Facts

Bodyfokus Arthroforce Revital is a new product on the market that is available in powder and capsule form, but can be taken in combination during a cure. It is an absolutely natural product which is produced without any artificial colourings, flavour enhancers or preservatives. The manufacturer also does without harmful sweeteners, which are almost standard in the industry today. As far as the ingredients are concerned, the capsule and stick differ slightly from each other. Below are the ingredients contained in the capsule:

    • Methylsulfonylmethane
    • devil’s claw
    • gelatine
    • Green lipped mussel powder
    • Frankincense extract 65%.

    Arthroforce Revital

The stick, on the other hand, contains the following ingredients:

    • Collagen hydrolysate
    • Glucosamine Sulfate (2KCI)
    • erythritol
    • magnesium citrate
    • chondroitin sulphate
    • tri-calcium citrate

Together, these ingredients create a wonderful concept that increases joint mobility and thus improves quality of life. Ingredients such as chondroitin sulphate and green-lipped mussel powder have long been the subject of scientific studies which have shown that the active ingredients in the raw materials they contain can influence and promote joint mobility. Devil’s claw, on the other hand, relieves the pain of joint problems and collagen helps with the product of joint lubricant.

Info about the Bodyfokus Arthroforce Revital Effect

The effect starts a few weeks after the first intake according to the manufacturer. The mode of action includes the natural ingredients, the properties of which have a positive effect on the production of joint lubricant. After a certain age, the body is often no longer able to produce an adequate quantity of these substances, causing pain and stiffness. Bodyfocus Arthroforce Revital promotes production and ensures that sufficient synovial fluid is restored and the body can thus recover.

    Procedure of Arthroforce Revital intake

In order to achieve long-lasting success, the user takes the capsules and sticks together. The manufacturer recommends taking the sticks once a day and using one capsule of the product twice a day. It should be noted that the capsules must be taken with enough liquid to achieve their optimum effect. With the stick, it is easy to stir it into water and take it in this way. It is also practical to take the stick dissolved in water immediately with a capsule.

How High Is The Bodyfokus Arthroforce Revital Dosage ?

The ingredients are dosed in such a way that they are in no way overdosed with the daily intake. The body gets as much material as it needs to produce more joint lubricant. If there is excess material, it is excreted by the body without any problems. With regard to the dosage, the products are prepared in such a way that the user no longer has to sort or dose anything extra. One stick corresponds to one intake unit, while the capsule can be taken morning and evening without having to divide it.

The Bodyfokus Arthroforce Revital application takes place at…

Bodyfocus Arthroforce Revital is used to treat joint pain and stiffness caused by limited joint mobility. These problems can be caused by an age-related appearance as well as difficulties with the metabolism. It is not unusual for gout or rheumatism to be the cause of an incorrect diet, which, however, only develops over the years.

    General Arthroforce Revital Test

We tested the effect of Bodyfokus Arthroforce Revital with two older ladies. The test lasted four weeks. During this time, the ladies were asked to determine whether the pain and stiffness were diminishing when they took the capsules and sticks. During the first week there were no particular changes, but the subjects reported that they felt a little more vital in the morning, but that their mobility was still somewhat limited.

In the second week their urge to work changed. Walks became more attractive and they also did a few exercises in the morning to loosen muscles and train joints. Within three weeks, the pain in the joints subsided and the intake had been regular and consistent. The ladies also reported that the taste was pleasant and that the intake did not have a bitter aftertaste, as unfortunately often happens. Four weeks later our test subjects were convinced of the effect, because the mobility became better, the quality of life increased constantly and thus also the leisure activity.

One of them described that she hadn’t been so mobile since she started working at a young age. But the relief of the pain alone was worth trying. All in all, we were enthusiastic about the product and can recommend Bodyfokus Arthroforce Revital.

    General Bodyfokus Arthroforce Revital Reviews

Also other people who have tried Bodyfokus Arthroforce Revital benefit from its good effect, while others could determine no effect at all. However, we have found that it is mainly related to the ingestion whether the product works or not.

As recommended by the manufacturer, it is highly recommended to take both sticks and capsules. However, some users have only taken the sticks or only the capsules. Therefore, they could not notice such a good effect as in combination. Also our test proved that the recommendation of the manufacturer is always better than to decide for only one of the two products. Via this link you will also find further customer reviews. *

    A field report

    • Day 1: Because of my aching bones, I have already tried many things. And my doctor also said that he didn’t know what else to prescribe. The problem: I didn’t want to use pure chemistry in the long run to get my joint pain under control. That’s how I finally came to Arthroforce Revital. The product was described on the homepage as natural and also contains appropriate ingredients. The product convinced me and so I ordered it. After it arrived, I unpacked it and checked the capsules in detail. They are not too big, easy to swallow and can therefore be easily integrated into everyday life, even if you travel a lot. It looks the same with the sticks, where it is also important to take them combined with the capsules. On the first day I did not notice any effect, but I hoped that this would change within the next few weeks.

    • Day 7: After a week with Arthroforce Revital, I haven’t noticed any serious changes yet, but I know that herbal ingredients take longer and longer to take effect. That’s why I was still motivated. But my metabolism was already adapting to the situation. I could go to the toilet a little more often than before. And as is well known, a non-functioning metabolism is often an indicator of joint pain. Because these often belong to the metabolic disorders.

    • Day 14: It is not difficult for me to take the capsules and the sticks every day. The taste is flawless and does not leave behind any skin aftertaste, as is often the case with herbal active ingredients. Even if you have to belch afterwards, there is no bitter aroma. It is therefore beneficial to the entire well-being. As far as the effect is concerned, it seems to be slowly but surely being used. I notice that many things are a bit easier for me. There is no absolute influence on the pain yet, but I am confident that this will come.

    • Day 30: I have now taken Arthroforce Revital for a whole month, both the sticks and the capsules, and it works very well. I notice that many of my movements are much easier and that the pain is slowly but surely getting less and less. A great experience. Accordingly, I am more and more convinced that after a longer period of use the pain becomes less and less.

    • Day 60: Now I have been with you for two months and am still convinced of the effect. The pain in my joints is diminishing more and more and sometimes the condition even lasts for a week during which I practically forget how badly I once felt. Only sometimes such pains occur that I can hardly move, but these are much better to bear than before.

    • Day 90: I will use Arthroforce Revital to permanently treat my joint pain. The herbal ingredients guarantee that I will not have any difficulty in taking them permanently. And my pain is getting less and less. I have finally reached my goal.

Are there any known Arthroforce Revital side effects?

Arthroforce Revital is a product that contains neither gluten, milk, wheat, soy, egg nor nuts. Accordingly, it is well tolerated. The product does not contain caffeine or other stimulants, sugar or artificial sweeteners. The manufacturer has also completely dispensed with aromas and preservatives.

It is therefore also not predestined to trigger allergies. Nevertheless, in the event of any uncertainty, we recommend that you consult your own doctor and take him into consideration for advice. If you are sure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients, the product can be used without difficulty.

It is important, however, that you follow the manufacturer’s recommendations. If you take more than recommended, you may experience unpleasant side effects such as diarrhoea, vomiting or nausea. In addition, a better effect cannot be achieved by a higher dosage.

Where can I buy Arthroforce Revital?

Best directly from the manufacturer. This is because the manufacturer also provides regular access to special offers that offer excellent savings. If you have been using the product for some time, the offers for several packages are interesting. Here you save a lot of money and can continue to benefit from being mobile and achieving a better quality of life. By the way, the manufacturer also gives you the opportunity for information. This means that you get all the information you need about the product if there are any questions that we have not yet been able to answer in our article.

How is the Bodyfokus Arthroforce Revital price graded?

The manufacturer currently offers three different packaging options. For example, depending on the offer, you get 1 package, 3 or 6 pieces. The packs contain both sticks and capsules. The quantity depends on the planned time of taking the product or on trying it out only once. The prices are as follows:

    • 1 package: 69,90 Euro
    • 3 packages: 182,70 Euro
    • 6 packages: 323,40 Euro

If you look at the prices in relation to each other, at first glance this may seem relatively high. However, if you calculate how much you would usually pay for three or six packs individually, you can save a lot. For example, you can save 27 euros on three packs, while you can save 106 euros on a pack of 6. Individually, the packs in the 3-pack would cost 60.90 euros each, while the price in the 6-pack is 53.90 euros per pack. The offer is worth it in any case!

    Arthroforce Revital Conclusion

In principle, it makes no difference whether one suffers from age-related immobility of the joints or already has problems with it in younger years. It is a fact that the quality of life suffers fundamentally and that one would like to do something about it. In orthodox medicine, such problems are nowadays often only treated with painkillers or regulated by major operations. And the effect is not always guaranteed.

Before you take something like this on yourself, you should try to refer to natural products, which can easily help to get the mobility going again and to relieve the body.

Arthroforce Revital convinces with a natural effect and, similar to Schüssler Salze, can achieve a good effect over a certain period of time. However, it is important that you take it as recommended by the manufacturer. In our test we could achieve a good success in any case and are therefore enthusiastic about the product. Increase even today your own quality of life and simply try out what Bodyfokus Arthroforce Revital can improve for you.

Vita Hair Brush Reviews, Functions and Price

Hair loss for human beings across all ages, gender, or hair types is real and is due to genetics and hormone or vitamin deficiencies. Unlike the past, when the solution to this problem was a procedure or use of chemicals, the Vita Hair Brush has proved that massage can go a long way in ensuring that you regain your blood blow via scalp massage in an easy way to reduce hair fall out. With this type of brush, there is no use of chemicals, and the technology applied has no harm to the scalp or any part of your body.

It is not only a symptom that is externally very stressful but also from a psychological perspective. Many people cannot cope because their hair is falling out and want to do something about it. However, the alternative products are often so expensive that they either cannot afford it. Some do not even work as expected.

Vita Hair Brush presented here is intended to help because it uses a technology that was proven to be useful years ago, but at that time, the price was still immensely high. The technology behind this device is derived from massage. Moreover, it was only offered by a few hairdressers and cost a small fortune. We would therefore like to introduce the Vita Hair Brush below.

What is The Vita Hair Brush?

During the Vita Hair Brush review, we found that it is a great head massage device that works by stimulating hair regrowth again. That provides you with healthy hair after the easy to use treatment. We found that healthy hair shows more volume again, too, the appearance that many want. The head massage device promotes healthy hair growth, and the harmful “hormone Hair Killing” is stopped. The cutting edge micro-laser technology gives the user a youthful look again, and he automatically feels younger.

One thing that makes the Vita Hair Brush not your ordinary brush is its ability to keep your scalp and hair healthy without necessarily visiting a salon. With this type of brush, you can focus on the affected part of your scalp to help stimulate blood circulation in the area. If you are suffering from dandruff, hair loss, or want to feel relaxed at the end of a long day, the Vita Hair Brush will work well for you.

Here is an overview of the features that we found during our Vita Hair Brush review:

    • Works with an innovative technology (micro-laser technology)
    • Promotes healthy hair thanks to the blockade of DHT
    • Suitable for all hair types
    • Can also be used together with other products
    • It will stimulate blood flow and hair regrowth.
    • Works naturally and without chemicals

Why Does The Vita Hair Brush Help?

The production of DHT is inevitable in old age and leads to more and more hair loss over time. It is a hormone that causes the hair roots to die and is overproduced after a certain age. On the other hand, the opposite ATP decreases, which usually ensures that the hair grows healthy and looks good. Many products in the market prevent this process but work on a chemical basis. They are often taken or used in the form of tonic and applied to the hair.

This not only leaves an unattractive film but is also very time-consuming in the long run. In general, such treatments put more strain on the user than they use. On the other hand, the Vita Hair Brush is great for stimulating hair follicles in an easy-to-use way, ensuring you can relax during the treatment, and uses an effective method to stop the DHT production process.

    Vita Hair Brush Technical Details

    Undoubtedly, the Vital Hair Brush is endowed with numerous features, all geared at improving its usability. By digging deep into all these features, you will understand how much this product can do. Here are some of the features you need to know about Vita Hair Brush;

    • Battery operated
    • Water resistance
    • Rubber tips and flexible
    • Gentle vibrations
    • Fits the palm perfectly.

    Micro-Laser Hair Technology

If you are battling hair loss or hair thinning, this brush uses laser hair therapy technology specifically for home use. This innovative technology is quick and convenient; hence it is unlikely to disrupt your daily schedule. Additionally, hair therapy utilizes medical-grade lasers to deliver laser light to the scalp. Through the micro-laser hair technology, light is absorbed by the hair follicle, which increases the microcirculation of blood, hence more nutrients that aid hair growth.

Low level lesser light increases cellular activity on the follicle, reducing hair loss while improving hair growth. This technology is essential since you no longer have to spend too much money on hair recovery procedures.

The Blockade of DHT – Promotes Healthy Hair

Dihydrotestosterone is a common problem for men, even though some women experience the same and is by far the biggest cause of hair loss. As you advance in age, DHT builds up in the hair follicles, disrupting the hair growth circle. As it results on the hair follicle, the hairs become weaker, more fragile, and lighter in color. When there is adequate airflow on the follicle, chances of DHT growth is minimal. Constant use of Vita Hairbrush will disrupt DHT’s growth circle, which will ensure constant hair regrowth.

    Stimulates Hair ReGrowth

The Vita Brush helps to lubricate and condition the scalp, preventing flaky and dry scalp and frizzy hair. Using the Vita Hair Brush to massage your hair improves blood circulation on the scalp, head, and neck, all of which are vital organs. Proper blood circulation on the scalp also means more nutrients hence faster hair growth.

    No Chemicals

The Vita Hair Brush works without any chemicals; instead, it utilizes micro-laser technology, which has zero negative effect on your hair. All your hair requires to remain healthy is a proper massage, which is precisely what Vita Hair Brush provides.

    All Types of Hair

One of the best things about Vita Hair Brush is that it is not gender or age-specific. The brush works for everyone just fine with hardly any adverse reaction from using it. Thus, you can purchase one to be used by everyone in the family.

    Long-Lasting Rechargeable Battery

Even with the best features, without a lasting battery and rechargeable battery, the brush would not be worth the price. Furthermore, not everyone has access to reliable power. The Vita Hair Brush comes with a long-lasting rechargeable battery.

    Charging Station

In principle, we cannot summarize more about the device when it comes to technical matters. The battery maintains its performance over several treatments and can easily be inserted in the charge state to recharge. So, there is always enough energy available in the device during the treatment. The microlaser technology does not harm in any way but is designed to affect the scalp.

Why do I Need the Vita Hair Brush?

When a person loses hair, they believe they are no longer attractive in the public eyes. The psychological implication of losing hair could lead to depression, especially in women. Well, the Vita Hair Brush can help you overcome this demoralizing condition. The device will help your hair grow by rejuvenating the scalp. You don’t have to feel less of a human being because of hair loss; go ahead when you get an efficient and affordable device to help your hair grow.

The head massage device is suitable for everyone who wants to give their hair new impetus and more health. Those affected by the hair loss problem can use the tool without any issues. As a rule, these are older people, but even younger people can prevent hair loss by stimulating hair regrowth with a brush. It does not matter whether it is a man or a woman. Men are likely to suffer from hair loss in old age and are likely to become more inventive when it comes to additional products.

    Hair Loss

If you have a routine of applying shampoo to your hair after a shower, the Vita Hair Brush will sure take this process a notch higher. It is made from rubber, which makes it flexible and can comfortably fit an adult’s palm. Also, the fact that it is handheld means you can control the pressure depending on your preference.

The brush is waterproof, and so you can take it to the shower and even use it to massage your scalp as you take a shower. Research has shown that using the Vita Hair Brush helps distribute hair follicles, decreases hair loss, and improves your hair’s aspects. The brush also improves blood circulation in the scalp; the blood carries nutrients to the scalp, improving collagen production.

How is Vita Hair Brush Used?

The head massage device is shaped like a brush and is also used similarly. But instead of brushing through the hair, it is mainly the scalp that is treated. The pimples massage the skin and the underlying tissue. Operation is child’s play, which is why everyone can use it. Also, the device is designed for daily use, so you don’t have to worry. However, too frequent use is not recommended. It is therefore always advisable to use it daily, preferably in the evening before going to bed.

All you require to do is switch on the device and brush your hair gently, and light will help speed up blood circulation on the affected spot. Red light photons emanating from this device also block the DHT hormone, allowing hair follicles to form and hair to grow healthy.

How The Vita Hair Brush Works

When you regularly massage your scalp with this brush, the blood circulation throughout the scalp is improved. That way, more nutrients in the scalp will stimulate collagen production in the hair follicles. Collagen in the scalp aids hair growth, hair health, decreases hair loss, and moisturizes the skin.

    In simple terms, Vita Hair Brushed helps to eliminate elements that prevent your hair from growing by providing a conducive environment for healthy and strong hair. While this may not entirely solve hair loss, especially if the problem is genetic, it will undoubtedly slow down the process of hair loss and make your hair more resistant. Red light therapy helps in regenerating the damaged cells and improve your hair condition. Here is a summary of how a Vita Hair massage works;

    • Massaging on the head help to increase blood circulation
    • Increased blood circulation means more red blood cells on the scalp.
    • Red blood cells are responsible for the growth and rejuvenation of hair.
    • Once the rejuvenation occurs, the scalp will produce more follicles.
    • A daily head massage will help improve hair growth.

Vita Hair Brush Test and Quality

Of course, we wanted to know more about the Vita Hair Brush, so we took a closer look at the device and tested it. After the arrival, we tried it for ourselves. The application runs without complications and is pleasant on the skin. We then gave it to a few testers over eight weeks, who documented the effect for us. Within the first two weeks, they used the device daily and described that they felt good after the treatment, but no effect was visible yet.

After about four weeks, we got first positive feedback from a tester who had the impression that some hair had regrown in places where he had a slight deficit before. Since we know that hair takes a long time to regrow, we waited a little longer. At the end of the eight-week test period, we all received good reviews of the device from everyone. It was pleasant to use, had led the testers to feel that the hair had become fuller and those who showed bright spots had had their hair regrowth. All in all, this was a very positive result.

    Vita Hair Brush Experiences

On the internet, we have also looked around for corresponding experience reports. The users used the device every day, and after a while, the results were good. Those who additionally used other products to achieve a better effect were also enthusiastic. The device left most of them with good work, and therefore, they would recommend it to others at any time. There are also negative reviews, but these often indicate that the device has been misused. Consequently, we assume that the head massage device was very well received. More customer experiences are available via this link!

Any known Vita Hair Brush problems?

We don’t know anything about any problems with this device. However, we would like to point out that it is essential to use it correctly to stimulate hair growth. Therefore, we cannot list any other problems here.

  • Vitamin B7 Effect, dosage and experience

Vitamin B7 Effect, dosage and experience

We often only know it under its other name, because Vitamin B7 is relatively seldom what we read on packaging or products, if it is contained. The more common name is biotin, formerly also known as vitamin H. We have taken a closer look at the well known vitamin and explain in the following how important it is for our body.

    What is Vitamin B7?

Vitamin B7 belongs to the group of B vitamins and is also known under the name biotin or formerly vitamin H. Like the other B vitamins, it is water-soluble and plays an important role in the body when it comes to the quality of hair, skin and nails. It also plays an important role when it comes to the components of the cell nucleus and thus controls many a gene function. It is also often mistakenly referred to as vitamin B8, which can be used to describe folic acid as well as inositol and is therefore not a vitamin. It was first discovered in 1898 and was given its name vitamin H because it was primarily used to keep the skin healthy. In 1901, a method was developed to extract biotin from yeasts.

What are the symptoms of a Vitamin B7 deficiency?

If there is a deficiency of biotin, it quickly has an effect on many things. This causes the metabolism to falter, which causes further problems. Since biotin influences the carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism, the problems arise at every stage of utilization in the body. The so-called carboxylases, which are controlled by the biotin, can no longer perform their function and thus an extreme exhaustion develops.

Those affected are tired, have muscle pains and are hypersensitive to many things. False sensations or even hallucinations can occur. Nausea and loss of appetite, on the other hand, are still the lesser nausea. The deficiency is particularly noticeable even some time later, because even if the level is balanced again, it shows deficiency in the nails, which are fragile, as well as the hair. The cholesterol levels are very high and in the worst case there are problems with the heart function, one looks pale and has difficulties with movement. Such a deficiency is caused by various causes.

Usually this can be achieved by a balanced diet, but sometimes there are other conditions that favour a deficiency. For example, patients with short bowel syndrome are affected, as are those who need regular dialysis. Pregnant women who are predestined to develop a biotin deficiency, especially in the first third of pregnancy, represent a particular risk group. It is suspected that biotin is degraded more rapidly in the body during pregnancy, which is why the need for biotin is increased.

How does Vitamin B7 work and when can it help me?

Biotin influences many processes in the body, which is why it is so important. Here is a brief overview. Vitamin B7

    • influences fat, carbohydrate and protein metabolism
    • is therefore essential for the body
    • influences the development of hair, skin and nails
    • quickly takes over many functions in the body after release
    • it influences the formation of coenzymes, which can only form when biotin is present in the body
    • helps to break down leucine, is involved in processing glucose

It is therefore a small all-rounder, but specific in its tasks. Without sufficient biotin in the body, certain processes cannot be promoted and thus get considerable problems with the metabolism. In medicine, it is often used to compensate for various deficits. It is often contained in multivitamin preparations and prevents metabolic diseases when administered in increased doses.

    Where is Vitamin B7 found?

It is good that Vitamin B7 can be very well supplied via food, so that a lot can be covered by the diet. Below are a few foods, including their content in micrograms:

    • Beef liver (103)
    • Dry yeast (200)
    • Walnuts (19)
    • Beef and pork (5)
    • Apples (1)
    • Mushrooms (12)
    • Bananas (5)
    • Fish (7)
    • Whole wheat flour (8)

It is important during processing that the vitamin is relatively light-sensitive, but has no problem with heat. This means that it can also be processed without problems up to a temperature of 100 degrees Celsius. If the products are stored correctly, losses during cooking are limited to less than 20 percent.

    Vitamin B7 food dry yeast

What is the daily requirement of Vitamin B7 for men and women?

When it is needed, the spirits differ, because it is not exactly known. There is a lack of studies in this respect that prove some things, which is why one still relies on so-called plausibility considerations. However, the European RDA recommends a dose of 50 micrograms per day for healthy adults. The sex as well as the age group does not play a role here. A few years ago, the recommended dose was 150 micrograms per day. Often a dosage is given as needed, but should be checked regularly, ideally by a doctor.

Is there a Vitamin B7 overdose?

So far, such overdosing symptoms have not yet become apparent. The observations made in this regard extend to tests in which the test persons received a dosage of 10 mg per kilogram body weight and were monitored over several years. There were no negative effects. Within the framework of animal experiments – the only thing on which the theses can be based – it was shown that rats developed a slight overweight with the regular and above all long-term administration of biotin. In these rats, the resorption of a fetus also occurred from time to time. However, it should be noted here that such observations have not yet been made in humans and therefore an overdose seems almost impossible.

Are there any preparations to support this?

Biotin is also used in many respects as a dietary supplement, both individually and as a combination product. Here, the effect on hair, skin and nails is mainly targeted, whereby the dosage is always very different. In combination with zinc or silica it produces good results.

    Scientific quality characteristics

First studies on biotin were conducted in MS patients, where an immune treatment of the metabolism was performed with higher doses. In the pilot study of two clinics, a dose of 100 to 300 mg was administered to the control groups. Of the 23 patients, 21 experienced a marked improvement in symptoms and thus a practically good benefit could be demonstrated.

  • Vitamin B6 Effect, dosage and experience

Vitamin B6 Effect, dosage and experience

Compared to the other B vitamins, Vitamin B6 is a very interesting component of the series. Because it consists not only of one chemical compound, but also of three. We have taken a closer look at this interesting vitamin and will go into it in more detail below.

    What is Vitamin B6?

Vitamin B6 is not just one, but, as mentioned above, three different chemical compounds. These are all the precursors of the vitamin pyridoxalphosphate, as the vitamin is also called. The three chemical compounds are called pyridoxine (an alcohol), pyridoxal (amine) and pyridoxamine (aldehyde). They are essential for humans, as they cannot produce them independently and must therefore be absorbed through their diet. The vitamin plays a major role in the metabolism and performs various tasks to facilitate the synthesis of other substances. At the same time it provides for the degradation of the ‘animal’ starch. It also plays a major role in fat metabolism as well as in amino acid metabolism. Its activity profile is rounded off by the control of the hormone balance and a positive effect on the immune system.

    Vitamin B6 metabolism

What are the symptoms of Vitamin B6 deficiency?

A Vitamin B6 deficiency is usually relatively rare, as the substance can be supplied separately through a good diet. However, those who suffer from a deficiency first have a wide range of symptoms. A simple loss of appetite, diarrhoea and vomiting can be a sign. Other symptoms include dermatitis, growth disorders or anaemia. Cramping conditions at irregular intervals are the rule in cases of serious deficiency, as are problems with the skin in the mouth, nose and eye area, the so-called T-zone. In the worst case, it can also lead to psychological changes such as anxiety disorders, sleep disorders or paraesthesia. Unfortunately, the vitamin also plays a role in the nerves, which can lead to degeneration of peripheral nerves if there is a deficiency. Ataxia or paralysis are the result. During this state, the signals are no longer properly transmitted to the brain and, for example, movement sequences can no longer be properly controlled.

    Vitamin B6 deficiency nervous system

How does Vitamin B6 work and when can it help me?

The body needs pyridoxine in order to

    • strengthen the immune system
    • to drive the fat metabolism
    • to form messenger substances
    • Control hormone activities
    • Convert and incorporate proteins
    • regulate central metabolic processes

It is therefore an essential vitamin that the body cannot do without. It is also stored in the muscles and the nervous system also benefits from its activity because it can produce neurotransmitters.

    Where is Vitamin B6 found?

Fortunately, the need for Vitamin B6 can be controlled by the diet, as it is contained in numerous foods. However, the dose is always relatively low, so you should keep an eye on the content. Very good animal sources can be outlined in dairy products, meat and fish. Cabbage and beans are very popular among vegetable sources. Below is a list including the amount in grams that would be required per day for cover:

    • Soybeans (130)
    • Millet (190)
    • Pork meat (300)
    • Veal (350)
    • Vegetables (750)
    • Beef liver (150)
    • Fruit (1.500)
    • Rice (1.500)

It is therefore well worth putting together a portion of several foods to cover your daily needs. Special types of fish such as mackerel or sardine also provide a good amount of the vitamin. For cabbage vegetables, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, spinach and tomatoes can all be considered. For fruit, avocado and banana are a good choice.

Vitamin B6 food rice meat fruit

What is the daily Vitamin B6 requirement for men and women?

How much pyridoxine a person needs depends on which proteins are supplied. Some release more of the vitamin, others less. The German Nutrition Society calculates a value of 0.2 mg per gram of protein. Therefore, men would need 1.8 mg, women 1.6 mg. A special need exists for breastfeeding and pregnant women, where the value is higher and lies at 1.9 mg. Children need between 0.4 and 1.4 mg, depending on their age. Gender is not yet the decisive factor here. The intake of protein is also always important in the calculation. It is said that the more protein the body absorbs, the more Vitamin B6 is needed to cope with the work.

Is there a Vitamin B6 overdose?

Since it is often already a difficulty to really cover the daily need, an overdose is almost impossible. If, however, this does happen, the following symptoms should be expected: gait disorders, reflex losses or photosensitivity. Likewise the overdose affects the nerves, which develop poisoning symptoms. In the worst case this leads to tachycardia and circulatory disorders. However, this will only be the case from a level of about 1 gram more than necessary. If men who take in additional pyridoxine for training purposes in the long term over a measure of 20 mg per day, are subject to a twice as high risk of developing lung cancer. We will discuss these effects in more detail later, other precancerous stages are also pre-programmed here.

Are there any preparations to support this?

Pyridoxine is particularly popular in the area of dietary supplements. For example, it is popular with men or people in general who do bodybuilding because it influences their metabolism. The same applies to people who want to lose weight. When choosing the right product, it is important that the vitamin is not overdosed and only taken in appropriate doses. The market is quite rich here. The product is offered in the form of tablets and capsules or is also available as powder in combination preparations.

    Scientific quality characteristics

Studies have shown that an increased intake of Vitamin B6 plus folic acid has both therapeutic and preventive properties. Together with folic acid, it was tested on various volunteers suffering from multilayered diseases. It lowers the homocysteine level and optimizes the immune system, especially in connection with folic acid in old age, thus contributing to maintaining health. In further studies, men took in more than 20 mg of the vitamin and thus had at least twice the risk of developing lung cancer. This was proven by a comparison group. In contrast, this risk did not occur in women. The risk is also increased for smokers, who may also have cancer precursors.

  • Vitamin B5 Effect, dosage and experience

Vitamin B5 Effect, dosage and experience

Another vitamin from the B-series is Vitamin B5. It is also known as pantothenic acid and mainly takes care of all skin needs. Not for nothing it is used again and again gladly for the treatment of acne. We have dealt with the subject once and collected everything on the dosage, effect and scientific significance of the vitamin.

    What is Vitamin B5?

Pantothenic acid was first discovered in 1931 by Roger John Williams, who experimented with yeast and observed its growth. This vitamin is not only called pantothenic acid, but also has other chemical names, since it can be formed from beta-alanine. It can also be briefly described as a yellowish liquid, which can also be obtained in the form of an odourless, white solid. The vitamin is mainly found in animal foods, but can also be found in some plant foods. In the body it mainly takes over the task of building up coenzyme A, but is also involved in the biosynthesis of other substances. It is formed from the provitamin dexpanthenol. Further characteristics are its heat sensitivity and that it is water-soluble, like all other B vitamins. It is therefore advisable not to cook the food, as this destroys the vitamins. Losses are estimated at up to 30 percent.

    Vitamin B acne

What are the symptoms of a Vitamin B5 deficiency?

People who suffer from a Vitamin B5 deficiency do not have problems recently because they have a Vitamin B5 deficiency. Before this happens, the body must already be somewhat attacked. Typical symptoms of a deficiency, however, are fatigue depression and insomnia. Furthermore, the deficiency leads to an immune deficiency and thus greater vulnerability of the body. It can also lead to anemia, muscle aches and often to stomach pain. A symptom that is typical for a direct deficiency is the burning of the feet, which only occurs when a deficiency has existed for several months. The so-called ‘Burning-Feet-Syndrome’ starts with tingling and numbness in the toes and later extends to a regular burning of the feet. Today this deficiency has become relatively rare, but during the Second World War it was common for many soldiers. Another accompanying symptomatology of pantothenic acid deficiency occurred in the form of muscle tension and nerve irritation. Groups at risk of deficiency are alcoholics, diabetics and dialysis patients.

    Fatigue Depression Insomnia

How does Vitamin B5 work and when can it help me?

It plays a major role in the build-up and breakdown of various substances, for example it is involved in

    • is decisive for the degradation of fats, carbohydrates
    • synthesizes cholesterol
    • helps in the formation of steroid hormones
    • is made from dexpanthenol (itself a provitamin)
    • has a special significance in the treatment of acne

Due to the latter point it is often used in a higher dosage for good treatment of this skin disorder.

Vitamin B5 breakdown of fat carbohydrates

    Where is Vitamin B5 contained?

In order to rule out a deficiency as far as possible, a direct supply of pantothenic acid can be controlled by a good and healthy diet. The body can therefore obtain any amount of the vitamin from food. Below is a small list of 10 foods that in any case contain Vitamin B5, each including the content (per 100 grams of the food):

    • Chicken liver (7.2 mg)
    • Chick peas (1,3 mg)
    • Chicken egg (1 mg per egg)
    • Camembert (0.7 mg)
    • Bread/roll (0.5 mg)
    • Semi-hard cheese (0,3 mg)
    • Milk (0.35 mg)
    • Tofu (0,07 mg)
    • Pork muscle meat (0,7 mg)
    • Oat flakes (1.1 mg)

Overall, it can also be said that it is found in many vegetables, nuts and fruit.

    Vitamin B5 milk bread oatmeal

What is the daily Vitamin B5 requirement for men and women?

The daily requirement does not depend on sex and is estimated at up to 6 micrograms per day. For pregnant women and nursing mothers, the requirement is not higher and can be set just as high. For children, the value is reduced to 4 mg, while infants up to the age of 4 months can manage with 2 mg per day. Age is also irrelevant for adults.

Is there a Vitamin B5 overdose?

Although it is very rare for an overdose to occur, those who take Vitamin B5 over and over again over a period of several months and thus exceed the dose usually suffer from intestinal disorders such as diarrhoea. However, this is only the case with a daily dosage of about 10 grams. Thus the recommended value is exceeded by more than a thousand times and leads to said problems, which are never so serious, however, that further difficulties arise.

    Are there any support products?

If you take additional vitamins, you will usually not be able to avoid this vitamin. It is often part of combination products that are freely available on the market. However, if you have problems with your skin, you will often eat it in the form of other products as well. For example, it is additionally contained in numerous shampoos, can be used as dexpanthenol in creams to treat wounds or to tackle acne. The effect of this is, however, always under discussion. Another use – the purpose of which can be disputed – is the use in energy drinks. Those who additionally take the vitamin usually receive it in the form of tablets, but it can also be purchased as a capsule.

    Scientific quality characteristics

Especially because of its effect against acne, the vitamin is always in the discussion. It is used for treatment both in tablet form (in 500 mg dosage) and as an ingredient within skin care products to get acne under control. There are no studies which should prove the effect. In addition, the treatment with the vitamin is always controversial. However, since it has the property of forming a coenzyme, it is said to have a good effect. Here it is mostly tried out, since it works differently for everyone. Some have quite advantages by the use, with others however it does not work at all. However, the excessive use against acne should be taken with caution, because it can also turn into the opposite. The effect on autism is also controversial. The vitamin is supposedly said to improve the condition, although we would like to note here that autism is not a deficiency, but a developmental disorder and therefore the effect of Vitamin B5 in this regard doubt.

  • Vitamin B3 Effect, dosage and experience

Vitamin B3 Effect, dosage and experience

Vitamin B3, which is the subject of this article, also belongs to the group of B vitamins. We wanted to know more about it and looked at its effects, how to notice the symptoms of a deficiency and whether Vitamin B3 can be overdosed. In addition, we have listed the ideal dosage for men and women below and compiled further information.

    What is Vitamin B3?

This vitamin from the B group is an organic compound also known as nicotinic acid. It was first extracted from nicotine in 1867 and thus received its name. It is also known as niacin or as PP factor, whereby the latter name is now considered obsolete. In the body this substance is found in all living cells and is stored in the liver. The vitamin cannot be produced by the body itself, but it is essential for the body because it takes over different metabolic processes. Niacin is also available in two different forms: As nicotinic acid and as nicotinamide. In addition, this vitamin can be produced from tryptophan, which the body can then use for corresponding processes.

    Vitamin B3

What are the symptoms of a Vitamin B3 deficiency?

A deficiency is quite rare in humans, because the body can obtain the vitamin from many sources, not least from tryptophan. However, those who eat too little protein can easily fall into a state of deficiency. Disturbances such as loss of appetite can be a possible sign. As well as concentration and sleep disorders. Furthermore, it comes to skin changes, diarrhea and depressions. Further, somewhat worse symptoms occur in the form of inflammation in the mouth and gastrointestinal tract. Finally, a permanent deficiency leads to so-called pellagra, which can even lead to dementia. Pellagra is mainly caused by foods that do not contain enough vitamins and therefore cause a deficiency. Typical for this is maize, which is cultivated outside Central America and naturally contains little tryptophan.

    Depression

How does Vitamin B3 work and when can it help me?

It has many tasks, which we would like to list in the following. Niacin takes over

    • the positive influence of protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism
    • Effect on enzymatic processes
    • effective as a coenzyme in various processes
    • Regeneration of muscles, skin, nerves and DNA

The substance plays a particularly important role in the recovery of the body. For example, people from the muscle-building sector are always affected when it comes to increasing their intake of dietary supplements in the form of vitamins. This is because they have an increased need alone. In addition, an adequate Vitamin B3 balance can have a ripple effect on digestion.

    Vitamin B3 niacin digestion muscles

    Where is Vitamin B3 contained?

In addition to typical dietary supplements, there are other sources that can be used to cover an additional need for Vitamin B3. For example, numerous foods belong to this source, as well as everything that contains nicotinic acid. For the following foods, we always follow the recommended daily intake and list the foods in the required quantities. The following amounts of food are sufficient to cover our daily needs:

    • 100 grams calf’s liver
    • 200 grams beef
    • 250 grams whole grain wheat
    • 750 grams peas
    • 1250 grams potatoes
    • 3000 grams of fruit

Niacin is also found in foods such as fish, mushrooms, poultry, dairy products and eggs. Vegetarians will go well with cashew nuts, peanuts, dates or brewer’s yeast cover. The indicated amount assumes a total requirement of 15 mg per day. An important note: Like thiamine, Vitamin B3 is also one of the water-soluble vitamins and must therefore not be exposed to excessive heat. If the food is cooked, there is a high risk that the vitamins will be destroyed.

In addition: The body can process niacin, which comes from animal products, much better than vegetable variants.

    Veal liver beef

What is the daily Vitamin B3 requirement for men and women?

It can regularly be said that the requirement depends on the general energy requirement during the day. An average adult needs 6.6 milligrams of niacin per day if his total requirement is 1,000 calories per day. Accordingly, it is more if he has a requirement of 1,500 calories. In tabular form, the requirement is as follows

    • 13 to 15 micrograms per day for women
    • for men between 15 and 20 micrograms per day

In principle, an additional requirement is recommended for breastfeeding women, where the daily dosage should be increased to 20 micrograms. Children manage with 5 to 6 micrograms per day.

Is there a Vitamin B3 overdose?

An overdose is defined as excess intake of about 1.5 to 3 grams per day. If you consume more than 500 mg per day, you will already experience vasodilatation. If the overdose goes in the direction of 2,500 mg per day, dizziness, blood pressure problems and a higher uric acid content in the blood will result. The worst symptoms of overdose are jaundice and liver damage. Diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting are standard symptoms.

Are there any preparations to support this?

The market for dietary supplements is large and the possibility of getting a product with niacin there is good. However, the intake should only be made under medical supervision and after advice from this. Since the vitamin has additional properties as a controller of the LDL cholesterol content in the blood, it is often used medically, where it can also demonstrate a corresponding benefit. However, there are already corresponding side effects, which one should absolutely consider. For example, in some cases too long-term use can lead to diabetes. A risk-benefit ratio must always be observed here.

    Scientific quality characteristics

Within studies, not only the positive effect of Vitamin B3 on LDL cholesterol was described. Studies also dealt with the prevention of skin cancer. Data were collected from 386 patients with an average age of 66 years. They had already been diagnosed twice with non-melanaton skin cancer within the last five years and accordingly they represented a group of patients with an increased risk of developing further tumours. They contained a daily dose of 500 mg nicotinamide over a period of 12 months, while the placebo group contained an ineffective counterpart. The result was impressive. The risk group that received niacin, for example, had a significantly lower recurrence of skin cancer. The tolerability of niacin could also be seen here. Side effects could be excluded as far as possible.

  • Vitamin B2 Effect, dosage and experience

Vitamin B2 Effect, dosage and experience

The second vitamin from the vitamin B series is called riboflavin, also called Vitamin B2 for short. It is essential for the body and is also known as a growth vitamin. It has some good properties and belongs to the group of water-soluble vitamins. In the following we have summarized what makes up the vitamin, what the symptoms are for a deficiency or excess and what else is important to know.

    What is Vitamin B2?

Vitamin B2 is a vitamin that influences growth and used to have a different name in the past. At that time it was still called vitamin G, but nowadays it is classified as B-complex and alternatively called riboflavin or lactoflavin. It was given the latter name because it could be isolated from milk for the first time around 1920. It is usually bound to proteins and is produced synthetically as well as in food. This practice has been established since 1990, where it is preferably grown from the fungus Ashbya gossypii. The vitamin is light-sensitive, but relatively stable against oxygen as well as heat. Therefore, it cannot be destroyed during cooking.

    Vitamin B2 Riboflavin

What are the symptoms of Vitamin B2 deficiency?

It can regularly be said that a deficiency in humans can be avoided as far as possible through a balanced diet. However, certain groups of people are particularly affected. The main symptoms are sensitivity to light and cracks in the skin, particularly around the corner of the mouth or on the lips. In order to detect a deficiency as early as possible, it is possible to have the EGRAC value checked in the blood. A further assumption is that migraine patients belong to the group of those particularly affected. They often suffer from an undersupply of the brain with this vitamin and therefore have corresponding symptoms.

    Migraine Vitamin B2 deficiency

How does Vitamin B2 work and when can it help me?

Riboflavin takes over different processes in the body. We have summarised them in a clear and concise way:

    • ensures a functioning cell function
    • Growth and development positively influenced
    • as coenzyme involved in protein and energy metabolism
    • helps other B-vitamins in the implementation in the body
    • produces special protein for the eye lens
    • is used in certain areas as a treatment for migraines
    • is contained in some medications additionally for mood elevation

Especially for migraine patients, the additional intake of Vitamin B2 offers a chance of improvement. In the last section we have compiled a few more details about this. Because then it is often administered in higher dosages by the doctor.

    Where is Vitamin B2 contained?

Fortunately, riboflavin is contained in numerous foods and can therefore easily be supplied via a balanced diet. It is often said that it is contained in dairy products, meat and fish. So also products with a high protein content. Here a small list including content in microgram, per 100 gram of the food:

    • Brussels sprouts (0,13)
    • Broccoli (0,20)
    • Green cabbage (0,20)
    • Rice, natural (0,09)
    • Beans, white (0,20)
    • Peas (0,27)
    • Eel (0,32)
    • cocoa powder (0,40)
    • pork fillet (0,31)
    • Chicken liver (2,49)

A great advantage in contrast to vitamin B1 is that Vitamin B2 is not sensitive to heat and therefore remains intact even when cooked. It is light sensitive for this. This means that the food should be kept in a dark environment until it is processed.

What does the daily Vitamin B2 requirement look like for men and women?

The daily requirement of this vitamin depends more on age than sex. Infants need between 0.3 and 0.4 micrograms per day, while adolescents aged 15 and over and adults with 0.7 to 1.6 micrograms are well supplied. However, special conditions apply to pregnant women and nursing mothers. Pregnant women should have a daily requirement of 1.5 micrograms, while breastfeeding women should have at least 1.6 micrograms.

Is there a Vitamin B2 overdose?

There is no known overdose of Vitamin B2 in humans. To suffer from poisoning symptoms or similar is very small. As a rule, it is the same as with all other water-soluble vitamins in which an excess is excreted by the body without problems and therefore no problems occur.

Are there any preparations to support this?

If a supply cannot be guaranteed by means of a regular diet, there are corresponding dietary supplements on the market. Since it can also be genetically modified, it is added to some foods and also approved as a food colouring. However, there is a maximum limit for this, which should be observed at all costs. For example, it is automatically contained in some creams, ice creams or desserts.

It is also processed in mayonnaise or various pasta products. In addition, some foods for infants are enriched with riboflavin to achieve a higher vitamin content. Because it is classified as relatively harmless, its use is very wide-ranging. Special products that are used as dietary supplements are often combination preparations in which a content of the other B vitamins is also present.

    Scientific quality characteristics

In particular, scientific studies have been conducted on Vitamin B2 in terms of its ability to fight migraine or headache attacks. Some of these studies show that the frequency, duration and severity can be significantly influenced by riboflavin. Coenzyme Q10 and magnesium are also under discussion. Thus within this study even a prevention possibility is spoken of, by means of which one can control the seizures and duration well and these micro nutrients have a good effect.

Additionally in the range of the psychopharmaceuticals for example medicines are used, which contain this Vitamin and affect so the metabolism. These include oral contraceptives as well as tricyclic antidepressants. The latter are used in particular for migraine prophylaxis and are effective. For general prevention a dosage of 5 to 20 micrograms is appropriate, for migraine higher doses between 200 and 400 micrograms should be administered. When taking tricyclic antidepressants, however, the specific interactions that can influence other processes in the body should not be ignored either.

On the other hand, a quite contradictory discussion was promoted in a data analysis in which it was a question of a permanent, increased intake of Vitamin B2 leading to an increased risk of lung cancer. The data from 77,000 test subjects were recorded and reviewed over a period of ten years. The group of men was particularly striking, and their risk even doubled. The risk for smokers was also even higher.
